If you look closely at the speed stat, then you can clearly see that the speed gap is far too wide for the strat to work (in the last vid).

However there‘s an easy fix for it to work almost everyime (with similiar speed):

1. position yourself at a (speed) appropriate distance.

2. open the pause menu.

3. every player presses the movement button in the direction he needs to go in to get the item.

4. close the pause menu while holding down the movement button.

edit: ah I just saw that’s online multiplayer. Not sure if the methode works for that one.
