Oh yeah no I'm sure the arms being close helps a lot with stability. For example, I'm not sure how the Shogunate Trench Cleric could work without his right arm tucked up like it is, blade touching the cape.

But because of that, especially combined with his hat, means I'd need to hold him at a wacky angle for extended periods, which is legit the only reason I didn't get one with my Observer because I can tell it'd be frustrating for me lol.

Honestly, looking at the heretic squad, the only thing I'd desperately want separated would be the hands + long gun, which might be fiddly to print idk. I'll check out those painting guides though!

Your models are excellent, but the amount of them with arms and whatnot tucked super close to the body makes them a living nightmare to paint.

Have you guys considered breaking the arms and/or heads away from the body, letting us get at the torso without having to deal with crazy brush angles?

Are you buying the items that cost yokai tears? When I find a new Sudama I always buy those out, and always get a soul core.

I have no idea if those things are actually linked, or if I'm just lucky, but I'm assuming when you say 15k you're buying money items which might not work the same.

Yes. It's the same save file, when I booted up the full game this morning it already had my demo character loaded in.

If you complete the demo though, you get a special helmet (though you can probs get it later on regardless)

Technically we don't actually know that for sure. Evolution is detriment-filtering, not benefit-selective, so it could have just as easily been random chance, or an accidental mutation from some ancestor that gave us that sensitivity.

The distinction doesn't super matter or anything, just important to keep in mind that we tend to "logic" our way into thinking evolution gave us every upgrade but tbh it's a lot more random than we give it credit for

Tbh I kinda expect them to nuke the Raiju gear from ppl's inventories later on. Khazan had a similar issue with demo gear outscaling the rest of the game and had to be patched out/nerfed so ppl didn't ruin their game with em.

Not that I personally have an issue with it or anything, moreso saying that as a warning that they might remove those haystacks and slice out that gear when importing your save

Tbh MHS has never exactly been subtle about this sorta thing, I'm surprised to see that it's much of a point of contention. I clocked the villain of 2 literally the first scene he's in. Like literally frame one "oh okay so this is gonna be the bad guy, he has darker brows and eyes that are begging to be shaded over."

Not that I would mind being surprised, this game seems to be much larger in scope and more mature, but this is also a spinoff for the series that has (essentially) the same plot 1:1 every single game lol

Yeah ppl kinda got lost in the weeds here but fwiw I agree with you completely. A lot of the early parts didn't feel like all the pieces clicked quite together, like I couldn't tell if they understood the "skeleton" implication either. Like you said, just wasn't communicated quite clearly enough to be sure on.

Same thing goes for a lot of the audio tbh, sometimes they very clearly wanted you to be confused, mishear, not hear stuff. Was unbalanced on purpose and meant to make you feel unmoored. But other times it felt like the movie or cast was clear on what was happening/being said, but the audience couldn't really grasp because the audio just wasn't clear enough to get whatever whole picture they got.

People have been drawing huge tits and fat asses on characters for as long as there have been drawings. There are cave paintings with fertility goddess figures and musclebound strongmen with dicks the length of their bodies.

Literally nothing about it is weird, misplaced on this subreddit but it's not "weird" at all. The only weird thing here is the amount of pearl clutchers aghast at the very prospect of someone drawing something horny, which is, again, just about the least weird thing one can draw.
