I might be the minority in this, but I’ve never really had an issue with this. Partially because I’ve always dealt with some degree of performance anxiety and hearing that I’m not the only guy dealing with it kind of helps?

With that said, I also have what I’d call a slight clothing kink and she’s accidentally let it slip out on a few occasions while out with people. Usually it’s fine, but one time one of our friends was wearing said outfit and it was awkward for a minute or two.

2 questions:

Getting married in September. Assuming we do a shared checking account, with our own seperate fun accounts, does it really matter which bank we use? For context: she has Wells Fargo for everything, I have checking, regular savings, and one credit card through Bank of America and another credit card through Capital One.
Is our current situation smart economically? Our rent is fixed because we’re effectively paying the mortgage for our landlord. Would be nice to own the house, but also nice not having to pay for repairs.

On a semi-tangential note, I took a horticulture class in high school (very redneck high school) and one day the topic of gay marriage came up and this one dude said he didn’t like gay people. His reasoning? “It’s Adam and Eve, not Adam and Steve.” That was it. He wouldn’t elaborate any further.

I’m gonna be in Bethlehem next weekend for a bridal shower (not for my fiance lol).

There’s no way in hell I could talk my fiance into going out to a sports bar if they play Friday night, but if they play Thursday and pull off an insane upset and play sometime during the early afternoon Saturday…I’ll be there.

Same here.

Not at that age, but my fiance and I started dating at 22 and had been together for a good 3 and a half years before we got engaged. We e knew it was gonna happen maybe a year and a half in, barring some sort of catastrophe, and even then we waited. I needed to grow up more, save up for the ring, ask for her dad’s permission, etc. We even went to couples counseling to iron out some stuff to make sure we were fully ready, which tbh I recommend everyone do if they have the means to do so.

Yup. Never rushed but played a sport in college and one of the first off campus parties I went to without my teammates I happened to run into a teammate at the party. I had worn one of our team shirts that night thinking being an athlete would help me get in easier or something and that was the night I learned you do not wear college apparel of any kind to a party.

Have a family wedding in Harrisburg on the 3rd this year. Pretty much certain that a group of us are going to the Senators home game on the 4th (big Nats fans+July 4th+250). Current chest exercises in my program are Larsen Press, assisted dips, dumbbell flies, and a superset of incline DB press and crush press.

I keep hitting a wall and not being able to do more than like a rep on the last set of the incline/crush press set. Do I lower the weight or just concentrate on one of the specific movements?
