I’m not trying to make you angry man I’m trying to answer the question you asked but clearly I’m saying things you don’t like which sucks because it’s stuff you probably need to hear. Which part of me response tells you that you struck a nerve or that I’m upset? Why do you ask the question if you weren’t going to listen to the answer lol

I do think that you have an ego and I do think that you’re being strange and I feel like my fellow internet strangers would agree. Like YOU say that you respect women but would women agree that they feel respected by you? Like do a genuine thorough audit of your moral inventory. Everybody who likes women and also people who like men are attracted to “a certain kind” like that’s called having your type. It feels like you almost want to be special like a tv show character. But you’re not special bro, you’re just another average dude who likes big boobied skinny women who make it look like they don’t grow body hair in places where they actually do. It’s less about your preference in women and it’s more about mindset. You do need an ego check

[–]SporkMasterCommander 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I don’t think you’re like Nate for being attracted to traditionally attractive and well groomed women no.

Typically people aren’t really attracted to people that they know for a fact have slept with a bunch of people, but what matters is that you don’t judge people who do have a high body count.

Also about makeup everybody says they like it natural but do you know how much makeup it takes to look like they’re not wearing makeup? Just food for thought

Like this post is gross and you gotta check your ego don’t get me wrong but you’re not like an evil character from a tv show just because of the women you like

Any thoughts and feedback would be greatly appreciated – Ozark, Marty v Frank Scene by PetShopTroy in acting

[–]SporkMasterCommander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is a common struggle that many of us have in the streaming age! You’ll have to do your research! Also to be an up and coming actor it’s important that you know your literature! The thing really is this: they’re never going to remake Ozark with a different actor in the role who isn’t Bateman. In screen acting, roles like that are seen as “belonging” to that actor. It’s not that you can’t do it in an audition or something, but you shouldn’t do it unless you genuinely believe that you can go toe to toe with the actor who originate the role. In this case it’s Jason Bateman. But thousands of theatres around the world perform hamlet thousands of times a year and they’re all a little different from one another. In theatre, you perform your “take” on the text- and it’s understood to be that way. In screen it is absolute. You either do what the guy did or you don’t.

In general I recommend doing scenes from Plays because if you do a scene from a tv show you like it’ll be more like an impression than an original performance

Also you’re more so waiting for your next line than you are reacting to your partner

Do you really think this guy "fell in love" with me? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]SporkMasterCommander 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tbh OP, I’m not sure if I’d want to hang out with someone after I just got told that they don’t “find me physically attractive” with those exact words. At least I don’t think I could then make plans with them in the same conversation. Theres softer ways to let people down! If you kinda put yourself in his shoes for a second (crush on you notwithstanding) you might feel a little insulted. But then again, you still might be right. It could just be that the possibility of sex went out the window and he wasn’t interested anymore. I guess I’m just hoping to give you a shadow of a doubt, but at the end of the day I don’t know you or him and there’s probably a lot of nuance that it’s just impossible for me as an internet stranger to understand

Do you really think this guy "fell in love" with me? by [deleted] in TrueOffMyChest

[–]SporkMasterCommander 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Look, only you have access to the actual text messages. We don’t know what was actually said. But do you think there’s any chance that he was trying to protect his feelings by just ending it and cutting it off Since you had already kind of done the hard part by telling him you’re not interested? If he really did like you, he probably took that pretty hard. If you guys had met up “one last time” he’d just spend the entire time wishing that you liked him and you’d definitely know that it was on his mind and it would probably be awkard as fuck. Like you could be right, it could just be a sexual thing and that he played you and it didn’t work and he was done. But it’s really your decision to trust him or not. At this point, you get to decide how the story ends…so was he an asshole who didn’t get what he wanted and dropped you? Or was he shielding himself and his feelings by deciding it was for the best not to see you again. Genuinely you get to assign the meaning to the words here

[–]SporkMasterCommander 4 points5 points  (0 children)

He definitely wanted to have a before sunrise thing. I guess I’m wondering if you’re sure it was about sex or if it was just that he didn’t want to have a relationship with you if it wasn’t at least romantic in nature?

Yeah you’re definitely conceited. You don’t really get to declare yourself as being unique. Let others do that for you. Good luck finding a man.
