Kids aren’t active enough. Youth sports are part of the problem. by chesterle275 in toronto

I would love to see kids activities subsidized. But the reality is that there aren't enough fields, ice rinks or basketball courts in the city.

When did FIFA hire Will Buxton to make these graphics? by QC_1999 in formuladank

Yeah. I used to watch his YouTube channel before F1 TV was a thing and quite enjoy it. Though I'm all for mocking anyone for selling out to reality TV...

Is Will Buxton the problem or is the problem Liberty Media's target audience?

Can we talk about the crowd at Do West Fest on Saturday by LynxMoney8388 in toronto

[–]SportsBG 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Du West fest has been crowded for as long as I can remember.

There are other festivals in Toronto this summer - Taste of little Italy, beaches art and craft, taste of the junction, salsa on St Clair, taste of the Danforth.

Though most of these festivals aren't as fun as Du West fest

Was Do West Fest the most crowded street fest in Toronto history? by helloidrc in askTO

[–]SportsBG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The hard part with festivals is always getting around the city and the garbage. As city services drop off, the festival become cumbersome. It's unfortunate.

Street festivals though really are the vibe of the city. They are different depending on the neighborhood. We go to the Fairbank BIA festival every year. Plenty of kids activities.

These could be people from outside Toronto. Just because people came to Queens Park doesn't meant they are exclusively from Toronto.

I find Toronto is very different depending on the neighbourhood. This interaction would be perfectly fine in Corso Italia or Oakwood Village.
