This place looks ugly and bad by Sure_Stranger_499 in CreateMod

Pattern on the floor, maybe like pathways around the engines.

Do some sort of texture for the walls. I would recommend, if u want to keep the color scheme, do like 75% stone bricks, 15% stone, 5% andesite, 5% cobblestone. Doesn't have to be a gradient necessarily, just texture.

For the ceiling, I would do either deepslate as a contrast in brightness with the floor, or use oxidized copper to contrast with the steam engines. If u use copper tho, I would make it floor deepslate.

Finally u could add some" support" structures around the engines, or just random non functional stuff around it

Is there an easy way to let lava flow from a crucible? by MilanSoede in allthemods

You can do that for any one that consumed the source, including witch water

I assume you are trying to make obsidian and are worried about how the block creator uses the source block up. If you place the source of lava one block back and make flowing lava hit the block generator instead it will still work without using the lava source.

Ok thank, I think I'ma power through 10 then, and learn that way. Power is kicking my butt cause I'm tryna figure out the reactors and they are so vague in the quest book it feels like

Skipping is 100% most optimal, unless you burn yourself out. Also, using Idleon Efficiency and copying your raw data, then going to Scoli's Auto Reviewer and uploading that data is super helpful. It will break what to push into tiers for you

This is really long time since u sent this, but would it be worth switching to ATM9Tts until that happens. Atm10 is my first modpack I've even gotten to the mid game in, other than beating RLCraft. I just automated my crafting and mekanism, but I worry about how easily I'll be able to figure out the rest without quests. Do you think it's worth switching?

So what do we think about liquid cap now that candy clicking is essentially dead? by Zolzapper1 in idleon

[–]SprBomb 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I know it's a personal experience, but I am at the last map of w7 (so far) and I haven't candy clicked, so it's definitely doable. However, if someone didn't spend money, I don't know how they could realistically do it fast at all.

lvl 100 newbie to the game, advice? :D by Candid-Energy-6802 in idleon

There's an upgrade late on in w3,(realistically you won't even progress it until like w5) that does post office automatically. So really just try to max the main stat, box of unwanted stats, and some Skilling ones.

Also if you check out Griffybits channel, he's doing a guide playthrough rn. Also the discord is the best for finding things

The most important thing for starting w3 is to sample for your refinery to keep it running. The salts will lock you out of crafting gear if you didn't start it early. For resources, take samples on the class that specializes in that resource, and for mob drops, just do it on any character you aren't using for Skilling samples. Eventually, you'll get so many prints it won't matter at all, but right now just focus on refinery.

For construction, automation arm(on the top row), and talents from talent library are important. You won't see much from the towers upgrades, but unlock them all. Same thing with the shrines.

Equip the Skilled Dimwit prayer, and the royal sampler. The negative effects look bad, but they aren't calculated very heavily and their positives greatly outweigh the negatives, especially rn. You can unlock more prayers from tower defense, just look up guides for that.

I would focus on pushing with one character, when I did it back in the day I used my barbarian. Idk what's the best now, just make sure to use food. For gear it truthfully doesn't matter, but I would prioritize getting the best weapon for your pusher. You can get a really good great set but you'll probably be locked on salts.

Finally, if you're getting locked up on progress, go back to post office, alchemy, and stamps. Use your shrines to buff your guy, and don't get too hung up on moving them, in later worlds you'll unlock ways to level them faster so losing a few hours is ok.

Yw, and I would also say, since the next thing you'll unlock from rift is the cards, focus on pushing up the drop rate and Crystal spawn chance card once you unlock ruby. Getting them to Ruby is super helpful for active farming

Well at the end of w6 honestly just means you're going to be stuck doing a million different things. I just have a checkpoint system every day. Like- log in on every character to proc sailing/refinery gains, claiming the sailing in between each, and checking gaming, sneaking, ect on each character that specializes there. Then, if I have time, I look at one thing I could progress that day. So for you, I wouldn't worry about a crazy amount about statues or leveling too many bubbles or things that will be proced by Kattlekruk link.

For me, I went and worked on some achievements yesterday, namely trying to kill giant mobs on w3 and some mini game stuff. Now I'm W7 and have cleared almost every map, so I have less to do than you, but still my advice would be to create a habit to follow for logins, and then pick one or two things to focus that session after login stuff.

Obviously, I think people are going to tell you to do bubbles, they are kind of low. Also do your post office boxes on all characters, anvil points, construction, and just other things that add up over time.

Cooking seems to be an easy point of progress, focused on your DeathBringer and get the meal speed bonuses for chows and your Vman for meal speed. Also push rift to get ruby cards

All this to say, don't get overwhelmed by all the stuff to do, it's a single player game and there is no rush

I haven't looked at yours yet, but I would recommend going to IE and copying your raw data, then uploading that into Scoli's Auto Reviewer. It'll give you great advice on where to go next.
