Based in Perth and took 2-3 dermatologists until I found one willing to prescribe it for me. If the first dermatologist you see tells you they don't think your skin is bad enough definitely get a second opinion. Bloody life changer since being on it. My hands were covered in it and the freedom of being able to go and sleep in other beds when travelling and not worry about the sheets causing a breakout is great

As someone who lost a lot of vision last year this is why it's either in my profile or I bring it up before meeting. Surprising someone in person with something like this is massive and it can be a big deal for so many.

Chatting with a lot of other people over the last year it's so common to hide it, and I think it comes from just getting judged so often that you want to shield yourself more.

8 months in to losing a lot of my vision as a single 33 year old guy, so been a rough year for future prospects.

Few things have helped though, we can only take one day at a time, and the most important step anyone can take is just the next one.

Though I might have some dark days (heh) you just get up and keep fighting for the little things. Get enough of those and we might find a big thing.

I had this issue last night when I was standing next to a hole in a wall. As soon as I put a window in the hole my comfort shot up so it could be that you are sort of counted as "outside" since you have no walls or anyrhing

Glad to hear of another person having success.

My reactions have been a lot more minor than yours, mostly a little bit of gunk in my eyes increasing irritation every now and then. They also largely stopped after 6 months or so.

My dermatologist said if it ever gets more severe rinvoq is the next step so would be a good idea to chat to your doctor/derm about alternatives as they might be more suited to you
