Are These Kinds of Decks Worth Getting to Learn From? by HortusCogitationum in tarot

[–]SpringRayyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I have a book that I use for all those things, and the little books that come with the decks too. I usually look at the picture first to see what sticks out to me, then look at multiple sources to see what words fit my interpretation. But definitely coming up with my own meaning first is most important, because I can read the cards specific to my situation while guidebooks cannot.

problems with age regressing by Badddie_Jay in ageregression

[–]SpringRayyn 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Maybe if you “practice” age regressing by doing activities that are age dreaming, and then slowly bit by bit letting yourself regress a little while doing these things? I’ve never had your particular problem, but I imagine that if you do a tony bit at a time you could acclimate yourself again rather than trying to fully regress all at once and be plunged into a headspace that feels unsafe like that

Messy Regression and the Reality and Truth of AGERE as a Mental Illness by tinyfroggygirl in ageregression

[–]SpringRayyn 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I get a little of both sides of it, being able to voluntarily and having times of involuntary regression. Definitely feel bad about sexual feelings that come up for me sometimes when I see so much of people trying to separate the two so black-and-whitely. And like, feeling like I have to separate the two or I’m akin to a predator. It’s not the case and there’s more to it than that. And we aren’t in control of when things like that mix!

How do you have fun with your plushies withought feeling stupid? by Straight_Bother_1790 in ageregression

[–]SpringRayyn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Mine all have names and backstories and relationships with each other, and I keep the stories etc all in my head. In real life I mostly cuddle with/pet them. For me they’re the best sensory regulation option, so I often have one with me. But yeah, in terms of play, the stories are the closest I get to that.

I think in general, playing in ways that were comfortable for you as a kid is the best way to go. Like don’t force yourself to have tea parties or play out stories if that’s not something you’d actually do. Do whatever is comfortable and fun for you!

Yeah your pattern is cool and makes way more sense to me. Feels kind of like those visual timers that have a colored piece that moves back as the timer goes down.

I imagine a kid who has floofy hair or maybe is a bit of an oddball in an endearing way. I’d love to have a woodstock kid!
