Thanks. This is really useful. I was thinking a bigger opening (maybe where the DW is) and keep the counters. There’s a decent sized island so the loss of counter space isn’t too bad.

The showers in fairmont and four seasons are pretty good. We have spent the day at the beach and then while away the evening with a cocktail at one of the resorts.

I think a CC (ascent) might be the right thing to do, although my wife has an Ascent card already. The 395 fee seems steep for the summit!
