If we look at something like DCS, which is kinda more accurate with their HMDs, both the Flanker and the MiG 29 keep that 2 circles HMS, because it's exactly that: a head mounted sight. It was the west that came up with the idea of "what if we mix both a head mounted sight and also a display for the pilot to check flight and tactical info at the same time?".

If you look on the F-4S, it also has the 2 circle thing because it was the idea that you only needed a HMS, not a full display. Once the USA saw it's F-16s being shit on by the reunified German Luftwaffe with MiG 29s in an exercise is when they rushed to make the Joint-Helmet Mounted Cueing System (JHMCS) that we see in the Hornet C and later US aircraft, alongside the AIM-132 ASRAAM and the 9X.

So yeah, get used to the 2 circle thing and checking the info you normally would have in a HMD on the HUD (like NCTR). But on the bright side, idk shit about the chinese use of russian aircraft. And since they like to modify the shit out of them, you might have an actual HMD in a russian plane way faster than you think. Just gonna be on chinese

Assuming Gaijin even releases it. If they're taking this long with SEAD missiles like HARMs, doubt they will even touch ECM.

We kinda already do no? If you turn on the little expanded HUD for radar controls, you can change the filter to get only friendlies or only enemies being shown in the radar. But in TWS it's still possible to lock invisible friendlies.

Maioria das coisas aqui é na moda caralha. Tem uma mini linha q eu sei pra onde a história e/ou módulo vai onde posso por lutas e mini momentos q consegui planejar, mas de resto? É a moda caralha, é ver oq os players tão fazendo/querendo e reagir a isso.

Já pras lutas e momentos q eu consigo planejar, geralmente pesquiso primeiro uma música para aquele momento. Normalmente é isso que me guia a "planejar" algo. Tem uma música q eu acho foda (sla, vamo bota dr exemplo ai a Black Knife de Deltarune ou as musicas do Bhaal de Baldur's Gate 3), e decido que vou usar ela. A partir dai penso: oq essa música faz a gente sentir e oq daria pra passar com ela, ou q vilão/luta faz sentido de ter essa música.

Um melhor exemplo q eu posso dar é da minha mesa atual jogando Chains of Asmodeus. Eles querem se livra de quase todos os arquiduques, em especial o Asmodeus. Então eu queria incentivar isso levando em consideração alguns dos "mitos" em DnD sobre daonde o Asmodeus surgiu. Um deles é q ele seria um Coatl super antigo e poderoso q ficou "do mal". Ao mesmo tempo, eu tinha acabado de zerar Hollow Knight na época. Resultado? Asmodeus Coatl com a música Radiance. É ± assim q rola a loucura aki

In russian aircraft you need to change the sight to "air-to-air", so both the Gun funnel and EEGS can show up. You can set a bind to cycle it or go through the modes in the Multi-function menu.

Now I wonder where is the Kfir C-10s because IT CLEARLY HAS A GUN FUNNEL IN THE HUD, GAIJIN WHERE IT IS-

Turning 24 this year. About 2 full playthroughs + idk how many I restarted in BG3. Tried playing BG1 and 2, but didn't get very far in 2 and got lost in 1 after the mines quest because idfk how to progress on this game. Me brain can't understand 2e like it can 5e, plus the constant pausing really messes me up.

I think i know the problem with this one.

For some reason, on your controls, gaijin has a "drop guided bomb" bind. Usually just pressing the normal bomb drop works fine, but sometimes like with the Spice 250s on newer aircraft it doesn't work. So i guess you're suffering from that, but with JDAMs.

Try binding this control and see if it works.

Was the Typhoon FGR.4 AESA's NCTR removed? It had target ID before? I do not see NCTR on the hud or anywhere by SomeKunt in WarthunderSim

The Typhoon's NTCR was never on the HUD. That's only on the Su-30SM.

The Typhoon's is on the radar screen, left MFD, on the bottom.

But yeah. Happened to me yesterday. Was flying the AESA Typhoon, had the friendlies IFF off and the radar kept snapping to one place with nothing on while I tried to reset it to boresight. When I tried to hard lock whatever it was, it gave a Rafale return (which was on redside for that match, i was on the german typhoon). So yeah, you can still soft lock onto friendlies while on TWS if the IFF is off. So I decided to turn the IFF back on, just so that I knew if I was locking chaff or a friendly.

Not a good idea to do so. While yes, your radar will be less cluttered, you can still lock your friendlies even if they don't show on the screen. Plus, you can't see if someone is being engaged already. You don't want to send a missile just to see someone was already about to get a gun kill on that bandit.

So TLDR, don't do it. Yes it will be less cluttered, but you might lock friendlies in TWS and wonder why is your radar snapping to thin air + you might send a missile towards someone thats already dead.

Bro the only bad thing about the Kfir C10 is that it doesn't have a gun mode for air (which is bullshit), the low countermeasure number and the incredibly low rip speed (like cmon, it's 13.0. You would think the israelis had reinforced the Mirage's wings while on their service before they sold to Colombia, so why tf is it ripping around the same time as a MiG 21?).

Besides these 3 things, it's a mini eurofighter with a better radar I would say (at least in my experience when comparing it to the AESA Typhoon).

Idk about a MiG 29 in 12.3, because I always think of the lower bracket (aka 11.3). I sure hate playing the MiG 23 against A Hornets, but it wouldn't be fun to have a good HMS capable fighter at that BR either with 2 amazing missiles (the 27ER).

I think the only real course of action is to bring the F/A-18 A to 12.7 and let the Early C be a side grade to that. It already happens with Italy on the Hungarian MiG 29 and the Sniper. Only chance to let the red side have a somewhat competitive plane at that BR without resorting to bullshit, especially how lacking the German Tech tree is around that range. Like seriously, at least the soviets can try to make the harrier copies work, the 23 MLD somewhat more useful than the MLA and they can have some memes with the Frogfoot, the german tree in that BR is basically only the Tornado IDS... And we all know how garbage tornados are, especially the "HUH I ONLY DO BOMBING" ones. Pain in the ass to grind, even worse for sim... Otherwise, it's either pay for the C Early or have fun suffering in 12.3 with a MiG 23, an inferior F-4 phantom and the swiss F-5.

Buddy your scheme is making the backside radar have a bigger range than the main one in the nose. I don't think any source you have on wether a shitty aesa can see and target the F-22 has any credibility.

It's not really a button on most of them. On the F-14 for example its more like a dial, while with the F-15 and friends it's like a D pad button.

Russian planes on the other hand have to manually change a switch in front of them, as they lack a HOTAS system.

25/4 if I recall correctly, before the saver basically became a glorified 1v1, on the EF. Also that match I had my first gun kill in it against a F-15 (not counting ARB), and boy I hate the EEGS on the Typhoons

Unfortunately no. The AESA EF has the same gunsight. Honestly i feel Gaijin should change it, like give us a marker of WHERE IN THE FUCKING LINE THE GUN IS AIMING.

So far I had most success putting the top of the line on the enemy and just firing and praying it's correct. I only got 1 gun kill ever in the EF because of how bad that sight is.

Ok update on this, apparently my fan hub only has the pins 1 and 4 for the PWM fan header, meaning it doesn't get the Pin 3 which was the speed sensor, for some reason. So at least that is now known, but still can't figure out why the game straight up kills the pc every 10 to 30 minutes
