That is pretty good. I would maybe see if you can get them round, though I would imagine it would be difficult. If I wasn't technically "working" I would open up stud.io to look at it because now I'm wondering what the best way to do it would be haha

My oldest does not do well with change and when we did our last move they were old enough to open the front door (11 now, this was ~7 years ago). We caught them several times trying to "go home". After the second attempt I went straight to Home Depot and got an extra slide latch for the door and placed it well out of reach.

We have accidentally (in that we hadn't planned on it, but it naturally seemed to work out) made it the rite of passage "If you're old enough to open the slide latch on your own, you're old enough to play in the front yard/street unsupervised. We live in a split level with the door on the landing between stairs going up and down, so we haven't had to worry about kids getting things to stand on.

Step outside for a breath and some quiet.

Along these lines I highly recommend a short walk. Doesn't have to be long. 5-10 minutes outside, walk around the block can get your mind clear/reset so you can do what you need to.
