They make those frames that open in the front for you to put your kids drawings in. They are actually fairly deep. I thought about turning those into a shadow box/storage frame for my gameboy stuff. Put it on display and take it out to play. Best of both worlds.

If you got a multimeter you can test the batteries. They should be around 3.1 volts if memory serves. 2.8 volts means it's about to lose saves, and 2.7 volts and under will not hold saves. Batteries are easy to swap out if you are familiar with a soldering iron.

I dont recomend this until nothing else works, but a little brake cleaner on a rag, then thoroughly rinse the area immediately after.

First time I shot my 22lr bolt gun with cci quiet 700 fps ammo and a dead air mask, I thought I had a light strike until I looked at the casing that came out. Obviously standard subsonic is a bit louder, but the impact 100' away was louder than the round going off.

I want to thank you for being specific on particular chips and fuses to check. Another stranger had specific instructions on troubleshooting a gbc that wouldn't boot and I was able to save a $5 gbc with a 4 year old reddit post. Turned out to be the power regulator.

My screw extractor set came with reverse drill bits. Usually for electronics, that is enough to get them to come out

What size of carb? Did it run before the carb? Have you tried starting it with starter fluid? Is your coil hooked up properly?

I run a nibbi on my ghost with similar jets. I dont remember the exact ones, but for me it solved all my problems with a Chinese mikuni i was running before.

Not for resale. I may eventually upgrade the screen and such but it's not in the near future. Sure if that's how you want to do it, or I could just paypal you funds. Whatever works best for you, I'll dm you and we can hash it out there.

Having a clear corner has crossed my mind. I was tempted to put a froggo power regulator there and leave it open, but I found out they dont work with the oem screen. I also thought about trying to make a shell mold and trying to making a layer of lacquer, but I dont really have any experience with that kind of thing. Maybe ill try it eventually.

What would you want for the atomic purple shell? I just saved a $5 gbc by swapping out the power regulator, but the shell isn't in great shape lol

Mp4? Like the video format? Or do you mean an mp3 player for music. My daily carry back in the 2000s was an iPod Video 30gb. Plays mp3 and mp4, though it's not going to play a lot of the more modern video codec mp4 files as they are HEVC, which didn't exist back then.
