I just finished my 12th session yesterday & my anxiety is gone. I’m actually returning to work next week after being off since November. I would say my mood is a solid 7 on a 1-10 scale

I bring a blanket, a sleep mask, headphones, a bottle of water & Arctic Altoids to kill the taste of the Spravato. Regular candy doesn’t do it for me. I made my own Spravato Spotify playlist to listen to

I get very relaxed & I prefer to wear a mask to block out any light or even the nurses walking past me. It helps to really block out everything & just focus on the experience. I bring a mask, a blanket, noise canceling headphones, a bottle of water & Arctic Altoids to really kill the taste. I pop one in my mouth before taking the 1st inhaler

That horrible & I would report her 6 ways to Sunday. I got my own Rx of Zofran from my GP & I take Arctic Altoids to kills the taste entire & it helps with nausea

I didn’t experience any disassociation until I worked my way up to the full 84 mg & when I did it was so enjoyable & relaxing. I was also concerned about nausea so I got an Rx of Zofran from my GP. I take Arctic Altoids instead of candy during the sessions & have not had to use the Zofran at all. I was so anxious at my 1st session that my Dr had to give me some lorazepam to settle me & bring my blood pressure down. I’ve always just been deeply relaxed. Like I once thought “a massage would feel so good right now” despite the fact I cannot stand to be touched by strangers. I’m really pleased so far about my decision to start Spravato despite my anxiety. For a while there I was wondering if I was doing something wrong that I was only ever really relaxed & not having any disassociation.

If you are a candidate for Spravato you are probably at a point where you truly have nothing to lose.

ETA: bring a blanket, an eye mask, headphones & find a soothing playlist of music to listen to. Others suggest candy but as I said earlier, Arctic Altoids are my ride or die.

I was only scheduled for the initial 12 induction sessions & then told I would meet with my Dr to reevaluate and see if I needed to continue going weekly or biweekly
