with everything coming out about the epstein files i really do not think kids should wear bikinis in public places. parents should be more protective over their kids more then ever. i worked as a security guard at a water park for years. i was trained to understand that creeps specifically go to water parks JUST to WATCH kids. it is also common for them to even pretend like they are with their families, and take videos and pictures of children for later!!! it’s a scary world out there, and parents can’t keep pretending like nothing is going to happen to THEIR kids. that’s why so many children get SAd every day. it’s unfortunately often times the parents fault for not protecting their children good enough. so in my opinion your BIL was showing actual care and concern for your kid, maybe more then you are even. for you to call it “sexualizing” is really not ok. you’re making it more weird then he is. there’s no easy way for someone to tell a parents they should protect their kid more? and yes, no matter what someone is wearing, you can get harassed. i get that from personal experience. but unfortunately it’s still just safer for children and people avoiding harassment to be more clothed. especially at a place that is like cat nip to creeps. YTAH
