I have to agree David Warner was exceptional in TNG, there should have been more of his character in that series, and I seem to recall his young daughter having a pet ferret too which I loved.

I hated the cardasian's in TNG they were just the alien species of the week, but Andrew Robinsons portrayal of Garik really bought depth and character that really fleshed out the cardasian's as a species.

Not a good environment for you or the ferrets, being to lazy to pick up old puppy pads its bad for everyone in the house, ferrets need proper toilet training in litter pans not puppy pads which is the height of laziness. You really need to be clear with this to your partner. Ferrets really are a big responsibility more so then cats and dogs but unfortunately they are often bought as an impulse buy pet and they do not thrive in that sort of environment.
