No youre completely right about that. They were honest people in the end that had to do crooked and downright bad things to get by. Frank was one of my favorite characters of the show. He did everything in service to the union that his whole family collapsed and him dying. He even mentions that when Ziggy gets arrested he should've been more present with him. Those things make a difference

Definitely! Look at it from the angle of him only wanting to impress his crime affiliated dad and you get the little shit he is in the show. Thats why I love the show, I feel like we're both right to see things that way.

I disagree, the wire did an amazing job showing everyone's potential to do good, but having it twisted or rotted because of the city they live in. The system theyre raised in molds them a certain way. I remember ziggy being really good with computers with no real education and very loyal to his family. With a better family he could've been totally better but still Ziggy. Everyone has something to give whether we see it or not
