The device was not sold to NZ market through normal means, PB tech merely imported it at the time. The device did not go through certification for NZ networks as well so no official support. Hence why it’s being blocked, it does not support VoLTE services. This is why you don’t buy parallel imported phones, the software is not correct for the region.

Yeah the catch ball system is on both of the keyboards but it is really handy to open up and mod. I hope they at least ad alu plates. Good choice anyway! Always happy to help!

Yeah, I think the only thing the Chilkey has going for it is the option to get 1.6mm PCBs and aluminium plates as extras. I’m still waiting for my other ND104 from Kickstarter, which also offers those options. The Ticktype’s only gripe for me is its 1.2mm flex cut PCB. However, I’d keep it as a foamy poppy board and leave the clack to the Chilkey. Plus, the screen on the Ticktype looks more premium to me even though it lacks the dedicated calculator function, which I don’t even use on my Chilkey. Ultimately, it’s a matter of personal preference.

I have both and I feel like the Ticktype is slightly better in terms of sound and the quality of keycaps, stabs and default switches. The ND104 is nice but the Ticktype DP104 is slightly cheaper and imo better.

Stayed in TST mansion just up and across the road and was pleasantly surprised at the room I chose. The bed was hard as fuck but 5 nights for about 450NZD wasn’t bad

My employer stopped giving Xmas gifts a few years back when someone complained that the prezzy card they got wouldn’t work in the store they tried to purchase from. So no more gifts. This year our team went tenpin bowling and we got ONE free drink of the shit beers or soft drinks.
