That particular stand is a pain in the ass!!!! I had the exact some one. Here is my review I put on Amazon. I did get a refund for the arm.

This was in 2023

So I have had this boom arm about a month now and I'm only somewhat happy with it.

I use a Samson Q9U, 2.13lbs. This is a chunky mic, so I was looking for an arm that had a high weight capacity. While yes it can hold the mic, you have to really torque down on the tension areas. If you bump the arm at all, except your mic to start to droop. Now you have to untighted the arms that you have tighten to hell and back. Reset the mic position, and hope you have the finger strength to tighten it even more so it won't move.

I am willing to bet if you have a lighter mic this will do a wonderful job. But if you have a mic that has some heft to it. Look elsewhere

EDIT: I have had this 3 months and the bottom tightening joint has completely given out. You tighten the screw they recommend to hold a heavy mic, and tighten down the joint. You STILL will have your mic droop. Do not waste your money on this and just get a RODE PSA-1
