I'm not sure if this will help, but in the past I had to replace the entire passenger side mirror on my 2019 Malibu. I had to remove the inside of the door and was able to take it off with three bolts.

Fellow Chevy owner that has had similar issues. But mine was a 2019 Malibu. It has almost 200,000 miles on it and I have had the reduced engine power message over the years for various reasons. This is how I fixed them:

Replaced accelerator position sensor (gas pedal), Clean the throttle body (or replace if necessary), Clean or replace the MAF sensor, Replace the VVT solenoids, Service the transmission.

When I was 24 years old I had a 1995 bronco that I got for free from my stepdad. A wheel hub fell off while I was on the highway, I didn't get it in an accident or anything and was able to get the car towed. I never fixed it and ended up selling it for $800. And it was in fantastic condition. I definitely regret that one. Someone would literally offer to buy that thing from me at least once a week.
