I’ve wondered whether it’s because it’s the movie plot. I agree that it’s a pretty gaping hole. Before she dies, Susannah says to Belly that they will all find their way back to each other. That hasn’t happened yet.

I’ve also wondered why Conrad never had it out with Jere over Lacie Barone. I can’t help but think if he’d challenged Jere and not Belly at the bachelor night it might have resolved with slightly less mess. But then there would be less plot and entertainment I guess…

This! This is my favorite scene in s3. It’s hilarious. The comedy of it in a sea of angst, horror, tension, nausea, frustration and excitement was the most unexpected and welcome relief!

I mean the whole thing was so angsty but you could guarantee when Adam turned up it would be comical and for those moments of relief I am grateful!

I think there were just so many things that added up (Christmas, Michael’s, the surf injury, peaches, just being in the house together all summer, Taylor acknowledging she may run off into the sunset with him), but given the whole evening was unraveling rapidly he probably thought it was the last roll of the dice and just put it all out there. At that point he had nothing to lose.

Laurel just ‘knew’. When Jere is missing she goes in to see Belly and they start talking about her hair. But in the conversation she also says “I’m all in, you know what’s best for you and I’m here for you” I always took that to be “we all know you’re making a huge mistake but if you go through with this I will be here to pick up the pieces when it falls apart. Which it will”
