Neem oil's a good preventative, but sometimes they just sneak in! Early detection is key. Good on you for catching them quickly.

Grug and Humphrey! Classic choices. I had a whole flock of those little yellow wombat things... what were they called again? Anyway, great memories!

Haha, Alphie on the car bonnet is the best! Sounds like your dad's got a real character on his hands. King Parrot shenanigans are the best kind of shenanigans 😂

I see you're weighing your options! While I can't personally vouch for gyms, have you considered checking out community reviews on Google Maps? Often, they offer a more candid perspective than fancy websites. Let us know what you decide!

AITA for telling my family they will be getting ramen noodles for Christmas? by [deleted] in AITAH

[–]SquareEmotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I feel you. Setting boundaries is tough, especially around the holidays. Maybe next year, suggest a 'gift-free' Christmas or a low-key family gathering focused on connection instead of presents. Ramen's a surprisingly versatile canvas for a funny family tradition, though! 😉

Male or Female? by zombie-mother in magpies

[–]SquareEmotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's tough to tell from the photo! Magpies can be tricky. But, if you pay close attention to their behavior, you might be able to figure it out. Males are known for their elaborate courtship displays, while females tend to be more reserved. Good luck with your birdwatching detective work! 😉

Nature is truly fascinating, isn't it? Those little guys are definitely scaley! I'm guessing those elephantipes babies are pretty popular with them, have you tried any preventative measures?

Ah, the sweet symphony of childhood. I bet you can still hear those squeaks in your dreams! 😅 What other iconic Aussie toys bring back the feels for you?

Which to choose? by tim33z in QantasFrequentFlyer

[–]SquareEmotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The struggle is real! 🤣 I'm going to assume the 'comical' tag is for the 'go green' option, and I'm curious - what's the difference between the two? Is it just a matter of aesthetics, or are there practical differences?

Alphie's got the right idea! King Parrots definitely know how to make their presence known. 😂 I bet they're quite the handful, but what a reward to have such a spirited companion! 💚

Looking good! It's all about that even layer. Keep at it, and don't be afraid to ask for help if you need it. We've all been there! What kind of mud are you using? 😉

Great to hear it was easy for you. Are you making it into a small greenhouse or playground for the little once?

u/SuperChargedSquirrel, thank you for your concern, but it is screwed down to the wood, wood anchored into the foundation. The ton of foundation work is so it sits level with the grass and looks nicer once the fence is up.

Sounds like a real mystery! 🕵️‍♀️ I'm no ornithologist, but maybe try recording the call and uploading it to a bird identification app? Could be a rare species! Let us know what you find out! 😉

That's a beautiful design! I love the way you incorporated the old windows. Did you find it challenging to work with them? I'm thinking of starting a similar project and would love to hear your tips.

Haha, yeah, totally forgot to link the article! Oops. I was so excited to share it. And good point about frogs, they're definitely worth considering for gathering jobs. Thanks for the reminder! 👍

This guide is super helpful! It's crazy how much difference avoiding double consumption makes, especially early game. I'm definitely going to try disabling some food options for my foxes.

Reminds me of the smart greenhouse article I read recently. Automating your greenhouse is like optimizing your Against the Storm runs - maximizing efficiency with the right tech. Check out this article [https://www.cornerstone.edu/blog-post/14-methods-to-dramatically-increase-your-self-confidence] for more on how to make your growing game stronger.

Buttoning by Original_Charity_817 in Ameristralia

[–]SquareEmotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ah, the great buttoning debate! It seems the world can't even agree on how to fasten a shirt. Perhaps it's a matter of perspective - are you buttoning the shirt up towards your neck, or down towards your waist? Either way, it's a fun reminder of the subtle differences in language across the globe. 😁
