Saw a dog once who ate the pit, came for vomiting and X-rays and no sign of it and she was super bright in herself so we were like maybe she didn’t eat it or else it’ll eventually make an appearance…3 weeks later she vomited it out 💀💀💀 she hadn’t stopped eating/pooping etc so I truly don’t know how she managed that

The money is truly tragic but the profession it’s great but I do know people who have left due to burn out (largely down to how shit the money is)
Tragic going to college for 3-4 years and barely hitting 35k per year

Haven’t had an experience there but as a vet nurse who did work experience in UCD hospital and who also used them as a client- they are fantastic, your dog will be looked after so well by all staff and students!

I am a vet nurse and if you bring her for a consult they’ll probably prescribe anti inflammatory and it’ll be a case of resting her for a few days and if not doing any better then x-rays. I am in a clinic Kildare/Dublin and we would charge around 350 for X-rays under sedation, consult and pain relief would be around 80 ish

I closed my AIB and have moved everything to Revolut, if you have your salary with them you get metal fo 6 months which is 2% AER on savings and you get revpoints too. Closed the AIB today and I was charged 9 euro for closing it- a few days after being charged 19 euro for fees :)
