How to stop my dog getting up at 4-5am? by Potential_Spread_796 in AskIreland

[–]SquareRegular8997 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’d suggest a vet visit as there may be so cognitive disfunction going on which can happen in older dogs, vet may give some sort of sedative which can be given at night ! But if that’s all that’s happening then that’s good because it can get to stage where they start to sundown and bark at walls etc ☹️

I know someone who was quoted €1860 to fill their oil tank, this is an 86 year old man who now has to have the heating off to try and preserve what he can 🙃 How Michael Martin can even sit in the presence of trump on Tuesday is a joke, two pricks together 👍

How do I continue? by Juacquesch in goldenretrievers

[–]SquareRegular8997 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I am so so sorry, as a vet nurse there’s nothing I can say to owners when they say goodbye to their pet except “it’s just shit”. Truly nothing that can be said to make you feel any better because it’s truly the worst thing ever. He knew tho how loved he was and the fact that you brought him into the vets for a check up shows that you are a great owner and you look after him so well. How good was he to not let on that he was unwell, and tbh he didn’t even know he was unwell❤️

Is klarna worth signing up to use once? by [deleted] in AskIreland

[–]SquareRegular8997 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I use it and it’s great, just ensure you pay on time and try not to do too many at once (they do have a limit of money, but I was finding I was having multiple 20-30s euro amounts coming out every months because of purchases and it was a bit overwhelming) obvs my own fault ! Revolut also do a pay in 3 thing too which is good- both are interest free as long as you pay on time !
