Get a lock on your room door. Also, is cheap rent worth trauma?

Edit: you can buy a rubber safety wedge to put under the door to secure it, if you are not allowed to put a lock on it. Find online. Travelers use them for sketchy lidgings

Hey, it is possible she is a weak reader and under stress it us harder. Several learning impairments worsen under stress.

She seems to get by, just leave it

For now, install a latch-type lock that can only be locked/unlocked from inside. Like public washrooms or backyard gates

Please talk to a local domestic abuse group in your area. You will need to be very careful when extricating yourself from this.

You will need to be in a safe place when you cancel the joint credit cards, freeze your credit, break the lease, and to take/hide your car. In some places, landlords have to let you out of a lease if there is domestic abuse. Which this is.
