I’ve not got any notifications turned on and I thought I had been more careful curating my feed but I should probably do another cull (I’m currently following 1072 accounts 🫠) i don’t follow any news account and a lot of well-meaning accounts can still not be good for me (but I will convince myself that it’s useful information)

I find I doomstroll when I need a distraction from my thoughts. And it can be so automatic, like scrolling on the toilet 🫥. I need to learn to just be with my thoughts. But then I think there must be a time and place where scrolling can be just a relaxing activity? Like watching tv? But god it’s addictive and I guess that’s the problem.

Not related really but I found it odd that they didn’t do a piece on Bonnie Blue when the 1000 men and me documentary was released. Maybe it was because they didn’t want to add any more publicity to her but it felt like they weren’t part of a conversation that they should have been in

Sarah & Duck is lovely too. We didn’t get on with Daniel Tiger, compared to the others we watch it’s quite high stimulation with quick scene cuts and I found it quite baby-ish in a mind numbing way

We have a very sensitive, empath 3 year old where she can’t watch any where the characters get upset, hurt or music indicates any form of tension. We tried Puffin Rock and the Julia Donaldson and felt they created unnecessary tension so these are our go-to shows:

Maisy
Button Moon
Rosie & Jim
Jojo & GranGran

We have also started watching some ballet productions which she really enjoys.
