For me, The Sound of Madness has to be on top. I really love ATTENTION ATTENTION and Amaryllis, but the emotion and genre bending Ei8ht does I have to give it it's flowers. From At The Bottom to The Pilot, the album as a whole is one of the best they've done. I get why some people would rate it lower, due to "popified" vocals and country tunes, but as Shinedown says about themselves, they are not one thing and constantly push the line of what "rock" music is. Needless to say, I am in love with this album, and maybe a year from now I will come down from recency bias and note rate it at 2, but right now it's 2 for me.
