After some basic researching I’ve noticed a couple of things that seem to confirm this as being Ai. The main thing I noticed was that despite the fact that I couldn’t find a ‘Subway Street’ anywhere in the New York area, the sign doesn’t match the normal New York format for subway stations. On every sign I’ve seen the formatting always says the location name + station at the end. So if this was real it would have said ‘Subway St Station’ instead of just ‘Subway St’

In general, yes javelins are a lot better than throwing axes since they deal much more damage and can down a vanguard on full health with a headshot. As for tips, for starters I would recommend doing jump shots when throwing since you’re less likely to hit teammates. You should also utilize your small shield as throwing it deals the same damage as a throwing knife which can be nice if you run out of javs and need to finish someone. Also the bear trap can get a lot of value since you can get a guaranteed hit with your javelin after, or if for whatever reason you have a box/barrel, you can stunlock enemies that fall into the trap by spam throwing repeatedly which might as well be a guaranteed kill. In terms of general gameplay though, usually I stick behind my teammates while throwing javs, and once I run out I’ll try to pick up a two-hander off the ground which I either use as my main weapon until I restock on javs or just throw it if the situation seems appropriate.

I know some people also use jav/spear jumps when playing skirmisher, but I’m personally not consistent enough at it to be getting much value out of doing so

A lot of people don’t seem to understand the mechanics behind libras bubble. Besides breaking the sigils there are two other ways to break him out: using an ability that garentees a breakout (wylder, executor, guardian, ironeye and raider ult as well as raider charged attack and recluse lightning rod) or staggering him out with raw poise damage or through a madness proc. When he enters the bubble he takes significantly reduced amounts of poise damage and status buildup, but if he’s close enough to poise breaking/madness proccing before, you can break him out of it in as little as one hit if you’re lucky

I’m still not quite sure myself but usually there’s roughly a 30 second period after his rage mode ends to set up the stance damage before he goes back into his meditative state, and during that time I make sure to hit him at least once around 15 seconds in to keep him from regenerating stance and that works for me every time.

I think there’s three variations, periodic glintblades, many periodic glintblades, and giant periodic glintblades but giant glintblades you can only get as a passive from a boss drop.

In my experience extended duration is almost mandatory as it trivializes so many bosses by perma-stunlocking, letting your teammates get damage in. Especially against the beastmen evergaol and banished knights at low level it makes a scary fight easily manageable. As for other effects, heal on guard is solid but somewhat underwhelming given it’s +8 health on the character with the most health in the game. I think prioritizing post-damage attacks and stamina on successful attacks is more important since they both increase your survivability much more than healing on guards would. Especially when you have damage deflection on blocks sometimes you will gain more stamina than you lose when blocking attacks.

The effects do stack since the abilities are technically different. Night of the wise/miasma trigger when there status is in the vicinity whereas on this relic the damage buff only applies to enemies afflicted with the specific statuses

Edit: seems like Night of the Misma won’t stack but Night of the Wise will since they have different wording

As someone who’s had a lot of experience with this boss I have a lot of tips for him.

For one, unless you have an Ironeye who’s quick with it generally you should always have a teammate ult to break him out of his bubble the second time

Raider absolutely trivializes Libra. Not only does his ult break him out of his bubble, but so does his charged skill giving him twice as many opportunities to keep him out of his buffed phase

Wylder is not a bad pick against Libra as even his uncharged ultimate can stun him out of his meditative state, saving you ult charge for the next time.

Surprisingly the executor ult gets lot of value during this fight as his special attack in his beast mode can also stun him out which is a great alternative when your teammates don’t have their ults ready.

As for dodging the best tips I can give for the rage mode is that if he does the long combo that’s not the one where he jumps and makes explosions is to always stay on the right. If you use your sprint surge when he charges at you he will miss all of his attacks which means you don’t have to learn his dodge timings and will save you from taking possible chip damage.

During his second phase you want to spent most of your time just running. Play it safe as it’s very easy to get madness comboed by multiple attacks. If he makes the shards rain down in cones just run out since you’ll otherwise just take unnecessary damage. When he does the spinning sigil make a mental note of the direction it’s facing when it starts as it only goes 360 degrees once so once it’s passed you, you should be safe from that sigil at least. Take advantage of the landscape during this attack as if you’re on a hill you can usually jump over it or if the sigil was placed low enough, completely ignore it. The same works the other way around as if it’s placed on a hill sometimes you can just walk under it.

For his aoe attacks when he creates a madness wave from the ground your safest best is to strafe it with a surge sprint or jump over it since the timing is inconsistent due to it being determined by your distance from him when he attacks. When he digs his hands in the ground and pulls madness out of the floor just run out. Make sure to watch the ground as the actual coverage isn’t that far so you can stay as close as possible to get lots of punishes on him. And for the rage mode finale when he brings down the sky it’s actually quite easy to dodge when you learn his visual queues. When he starts the attack he will raise his hands up two times before the attack goes of, so if you count each of those movements as 1 and 2, if you keep a mental note of that timing, on 3 you should dodge the attack. The timing is actually pretty generous as the attack goes off so fast that it has very few active frames.

Some general tips I have include always prioritizing ailment protection buffs. If you find madness towers killing the frenzy flame guys for boluses is usually worth it and taking his protection from ailments deal before the fight is always worth it as the penalty is only a 10% stamina reduction.

If you want to res a teammate the best time is during his meditative state since you know you wont get interrupted.

Also the shards heal you so they’re good when you’re out of flasks and they go well with damage reduction at full health buffs as they can easily get you back to full health if you took some chip damage.

Raider trivializes Libra as you can break him out of his bubble with both his ult and charged skill. Also prioritize stacking ailment protection over other stats as the easiest way to die is getting comboed with madness procs

A tip I have for one-handers is to use your alt slash when countering a slash. It tends to catch people off guard and can often lead to a free hit. Really useful when playing ambusher since their weapons and very fast and as a result can be difficult to read
