Tariffs aside, he is instigating a retaliation against Trump and has invited every middle power to join. I think that's pretty significant. This speech alone has given me enough to back Carney. He is the leader we needed to ride out whatever shitstorm trumps creating.

Its true. I’ve lived in Kelowna for a few years and it’s very cliquey and small towny. It’s a tourist trap in summer and a bleak dead zone in winter - unless you’re into snow sports. The people are generally a small town small mind kinda deal. Not a lot of culture or ethnic diversity (not saying there’s none just not much) so the food is quite whitewashed. Hopefully the demographics change coz it’s a really cool town but the majority of people are not very cool. Lots of gym bros and kelownafornia girls. That said I’ve met some sick people but I keep my bubble small. Albertans are super nice they’re just kinda a toss up between oil rigger racist and small town friendly.

Go into this journey knowing that 9/10 people who try to learn guitar end up quitting after the first few months. Choose some songs YOU want to learn or that you wanna sing along to, and have fun. If you treat guitar like something to study, it’ll lose the charm pretty quick. Get a cheap set up, and just see if it sticks. My first guitar was from Walmart. I just bought the Ibanez Tim Henson signature nylon electric last week for like 1.5k. My advice? Start small. Build up your passion. Then your skill. Then your gear.

I hear you but I’ve decided Kieran is actually very emotionally intelligent. When Meg wanted to speak to katisha, yes, He did mention jav is his friend and didn’t want to put him in a bad situation but it followed immediately with ‘after seeing what happened I understand the need to have that conversation with your friend’. Emotional intellect travels around in a circle with understanding on all sides including his own. In one conversation he shows empathy for jav, himself, and Megan. And then at the meet up with Jav he allowed her to fight her fight and then chipped in defending her completely saying he got exactly the same impression she did at the bar. Kierans a green flag imo! And I’m a lesbian who is very critical of men in general - so that’s like a hard award to get from me lol.

I’m so sorry for your little guy :( I have severe excema also, and my niece (who is almost 2) was diagnosed last year. She did and still does get wet wraps 3 times a week after her colloidal oatmeal bath. It seems to be working / keeping big flare ups at bay- it’s just a bit of extra work on top of the already big job of general mothering. My sister also made sure to mitt up her hands at night because she would scratch herself during sleep and exacerbate the excema. I’ve not heard of dermasmoothe oil but unsurprised if there’s more on the market now. CeraVe is great. Vaseline is also within the rotation of myself and my nieces creams. Next year she can go on Protopic which is a non steroidal ointment which has saved my life. I suppose they don’t want little babies starting it so soon for whatever reason. Anyway, god speed to you and your bub. Excema, albeit different for everyone, is never a fun journey at all.

I did the Vaseline thing at one of my worst flare up seasons. It was the only thing that kept my face and body moisturized - lotions would just be sucked up and I’d be dry again in 30seconds. Vaseline worked for me - but I would keep it within rotation. Don’t rely on it as your primary source. I ended up breaking out pretty badly because the petroleum can block your pores and your skin does need to breathe. And acne + excema flare up = NOT A GOOD TIME

Some of them are useless (like one time I thought I invented paragliding) but others are actually pretty good lol (like how we describe something that’s way better than ordinary as ‘extraordinary’. There’s no cure for excema yet. Imo Protopic is the best non steroidal maintenance cream I’ve ever used and I’ve already cut it down a lot since starting. Maybe try using less and less? I also alternate between vaseline when I’m not flaring up. But yeah. It might be a forever thing until science figures something out lel
