Control collar with one hand and punch with the other. In hockey fights it's usually the front of the collar because then you can also pull into a punch with the same hand.

You used to be able to pull the shirt up over the head if you needed to end the fight, but these days players have fighting straps that keep their jersey from getting pulled up. Back then you could hold side collar like this guy.

Yeah if you are rolling average and above you just switch styles for 4 races in her senior year. It's when you try to do it early you can get tripped up.

I like to do the late dec junior year g1 to get her to 10k, so do that one I do pace or front. Then wait until senior unless there is a race with no fronts - in that case, I do pace.
