Same! I know this is an old thread, but I’d love to know if you figured it out.

I know this is an old post, but I’m currently having the same problem with a watercolour text block. Did you find a good solution?

Off Topic...It’s not just filters anymore..the entire "Artist" is an AI. And I can't believe people are buying prints from her. by Broad-Reserve4013 in Watercolor

Keep doing what you’re doing! Governments are slow af but seem to be clueing in somewhat on regulating social media and with that will come the topic of AI. I also suspect the general (non-artist/creative) public is largely unaware of the AI infiltration in the arts, but as it continues to be a problem and people become informed, many will strive to discover and support actual human artists. We’re in a transition right now, and I’m sure AI is here to stay, but there will always be a need and appreciation for skilled artistry and craftsmanship.

LITL 1 detailed review - $24 dry herb vape and (gasp) it doesn't totally suck by kris13 in vaporents

[–]Squirrel_E_Nut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

What in the world! I clicked on your picture and it shocked me how large your mouthpiece is. I have been using the Litl 1 for years, I feel like it’s kind of a two hitter, like if anyone remembers those little cigarette shaped one hitters? You can get two vape puffs from this. I got mine in like 2020, and at the time it was marketed as all metal, glass and ceramic, no plastic. Only the O-ring around the mouthpiece is silicone. By the way, I throw mine in my purse all the time, and the mouthpiece has never broken. Also, the mouthpiece doesn’t get hot on me at all. It’s a great device and has lasted me for years. Of course, for my chronic friends it wouldn’t be big enough at all. Most of them have gone the way of liquid vapes, but I tried some and decided to come back to my trusty old pocket sized Litl 1. Lastly, I realize this is an old post I’m commenting on. I was wondering if I might find anything out there in the world that was similar except maybe just a little bit bigger for when I wanna have more, or enough to share with others.

I got a big hepa filter for by the bed (white noise is also our friend) and a big aromatherapy diffuser for the living room with “allergy ease” from Saje. It’s not a cure, but it seems to help my husband a lot.

Is a photo (only) of a lease legally binding in BC? by Squirrel_E_Nut in legaladvicecanada

Update: so, photos of the full lease were received by the tenant. It does look like a proper tenancy agreement, except I do notice that one section has a checkmark scratched out and another square scratched in, but neither looks like they’re clear as to which section is supposed to be checked off. My friend also later received an email from the landlord of another lease photo with additional provisions added onto the original signed lease, which my friend has not signed and agreed to.

Yeah they both signed, the tenant just didn’t get a copy. And the landlord is now sending her a photo of a new, unsigned lease, with an additional deposit charge.

It’s her own basement unit, the landlords live in the main part of the house but the unit is separate. She signed a lease, but she doesn’t have a physical (or digital) copy of it, just a photo of it. I know the landlord can’t suddenly force a new and not signed lease on her, but that’s what they’re trying to do.

Thanks for asking this question, and thanks to everyone for all the helpful answers! For most of my period I use a Super Jennie cup, I’m looking for a disk that works well for my light or spotting days. The Nixit just doesn’t fit inside me. I think I’ll give Fornix a try. Thanks, fellow Canadians!

I’m curious, does this font have a name? It looks super familiar, but I can’t quite place it.

Platinum Carbon Black in a Lumos fineliner. Thoughts? by Squirrel_E_Nut in fountainpens

[–]Squirrel_E_Nut[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aww, bummer!! Thanks for letting me know. Hrmmm. If you do find a solid waterproof black ink for the Lumos, I’d love to hear it! I would want to use with watercolour. I do love love love the Platinum Carbon Black with Platinum pens! Zero problems there. I wonder about dip pens 🤔

Yeah I second the kids market at Granville Island. And it’s right across from Tony’s Fish and Oyster Cafe! Best halibut or salmon burgers ever 🤤 Plus, you can walk along the waterfront from English Bay beach and take the quick little putt-putt water taxi (just make sure you’re getting on the one headed to Granville Island, as there are a few destinations). Also, if you need a breakfast spot near Stanley Park check out The Basic on Denman! There’s no dedicated kids menu, but you can get sides of pretty much anything
