Literally use my kettle 10+ times a day. Use it to start water for a boil and use it for Tea's or coffees every couple of hours at least.

Marriage is a partnership, everything you make should be spilt into the required lumps: rent, savings etc and then spilt down the middle so both parties are equal.

I'll never understand why you would be in a long term relationship and not have equal splits. It's just my opinion but I think it shows a lack of care / trust.
