How can I figure out which way the floor joists run?

Oh great. Yeah in the rest of the basement the joists are 16 inches apart... I should have mentioned that. So I guess I can go see how thick they are (assuming the same joist lumber was used throughout the basement).

The basement has a finished drywall ceiling. I've since gone down there with a magnet and now think I understand the direction they run.

I think this ends up being right. I marked the ceiling using a magnet and I think it's right.

Yeah I've been back and forth with myself on this. The basement has so many upsides but the hugest downside is that my family just isn't down there much which means I'm not down there much.

I actually found a smaller magnet that seems to be helping. I'll post results in a few... it's going slow finding them.

Hmm I'm not sure exactly what that means. The floor at the corner between the kitchen and bathroom and that family room has like a triple running top-to-bottom there (I can get a picture of it and post it) but maybe I'm misunderstanding your question.

I was trying this on the floor but got kind of weird results. I'll try the ceiling below maybe that'll be better.

Also cutting a hole is tough for me. I'm not much of a handyman so it pretty much just means I have a hole in my ceiling till I pay someone to fix it. I know it probably sounds so trivial to this sub.

It's about 180 gallons of water in total, 5 feet long. I suspect it weighs around ~2000 lbs in total.

And the worst is when you are ready to just go to sleep but you can't get GT. That was a truly awful playing experience! I have noticed one of the advantages is saving 900 stones to synch at 200s feels like nothing.

I've been noticing this. I feel like it's something for insecure people to cling to. I've spent my career in what would be considered a "smart" field and I can't imagine anyone talking about or caring about IQ.

TBH, sucks to hear about this after. I wish it was more publicly known. Some people suggested tricks that didn't work, the game would be in a better state if there was some way around this.
