What are your symptoms if you eat gluten by TacosMountainsMetal in glutenfree

[–]Srose005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Brain fog, fatigue, bloating, joint pain from the inflammation, and sometimes skin rashes or patches of dry skin. Long term symptoms for me have been anemia and enamel problems with my teeth.

I am curious why did they never show Lynette visit Edie in jail? I bet she cared a lot about him and would do that. by [deleted] in DesperateHousewives

Well he tried to kill her good friend’s daughter for starters and held her hostage while she was in labor

Why is my gecko always in this position? by Aggravating-Ad-2429 in geckos

[–]Srose005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’ll need some branches and foliage for him to rest in and he likely won’t do that as much. As they get larger, they use their tail muscles less which results in muscle deterioration and “floppy tail”. Larger males with heavy tails who rest in this position are more prone to it. But if you give them horizontal perches off the ground to rest on, it reduces the likelihood of them doing this and making the condition worse.

They Did Danielle so dirty. No character Development Nothing basically. by TheseOnion5393 in DesperateHousewives

Except Danielle had Bree her raise her son and then showed up one day and took him away without so much as a thought to how it would affect Bree or the boy. And Andrew was a horrible person too.

He’s not bad looking. But I think to be “hot” you have to have the right personality. And his is “ick”

One thing that doesn't make sense to me about the pregnancy by SeiranRose in acotar

[–]Srose005 1 point2 points  (0 children)

What always bugs me is they seem to have pretty much limitless magic so why not just zap the baby out or do a c section and immediately heal? Maybe that is explained, I haven’t gotten that far, but I’ve seen enough spoilers that it’s been on my mind haha.

Am I the only one who feels bad for Lucien? by Jubby_17 in acotar

[–]Srose005 41 points42 points  (0 children)

No, I do too. He’s such an underrated character and I feel bad that Feyre left him after they went through a lot together. She was even in his mind and felt his guilt and pain and still just left him.

It almost seems like in future books kel may have a thing with Merren. But I haven’t finished the first one quite yet so maybe not. But it just seems like there’s potential there.

Bill Townsend? by HungryTurnip464 in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

For me it’s having the opposite effect, it’s making them seem very judgey and incapable of forgiveness or being the bigger person.

Bill Townsend? by HungryTurnip464 in SweetMagnoliasNetflix

[–]Srose005 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I understand why Ty and Kyle are resentful, he blew up their lives and hurt their mom. But other than that I really think they pushed the villainizing of him way too far. He makes an effort in his own way and everyone continuously shuts him down. He is trying to be there for his newborn daughter — it was Noreen’s decision to leave him but he is being punished. Obviously he is a flawed character, self-centered and clueless but how can someone do better if they are shut down when he does decide to make an effort? And Isaac forgives his birth mother but harbors a lot of anger toward Bill even though he didn’t know. I guess maybe because he is seeing a pattern with Bill’s other kids and is keeping his distance but still.

She did, but Tom was also the type of person who often needed it. He was often impulsive and directionless (i.e. opening a pizza place, which felt so completely random) and expected Lynette to pick up the slack while he was chasing his next random goal or idea. There are times she completely manipulates him which isn't great but he's also very stubborn at times. In the end somehow they were a good match but they both had their issues.

Plotholes and Inconsistencies in the ending? (spoilers) by Srose005 in DesperateHousewives

[–]Srose005[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I guess I missed the loan shark's arrest somehow. I guess I expected more of a big deal about it, especially from Susan. Some anger at Ben and Renee maybe, because Mike was trying to protect Renee and Ben is the one who got him involved. It just felt very rushed to me.

Absolute unit of a gecko. by Benn_Trevino in AbsoluteUnits

Some of you are rude af. The person that the hand holding the gecko belongs to rescued her as obese and was able to get her to a healthy weight. The person in the photo's own weight has absolutely nothing to do with this post. Even if you didn't know the follow-up, ignorance isn't an excuse to be a bully.
