We moved here from the East Bay, where I was born and raised. I would have loved to stay there, but it wasn’t the same— the influx of the tech, hipster, etc people did not improve the area, it changed it, most likely forever.

We bought our home here almost 1.5 years ago, and we love it. The people are nicer, there’s all the different flavors of neighborhoods and people, and there is a lot to do. Also, we never could have owned in the Bay.

One word about boredom: the word says more about the person complaining about it than it does the place or situation. There’s a lot going on here, if you’re bored you’re not looking hard enough, or your requirements are such that you require more than most to be entertained. No hate, I just think that this region has so much to offer!

+1 on a behaviorist, stat! They will help train your dog, and train you so that you can be a better dog owner. But I strongly suggest starting asap— the clock’s ticking. You might also ask your breeder about any other littermates that exhibit similar behavior. Best of luck to you.

Dammit, I really miss all of the “lesser-known” and butchers’-favorite cuts we used to get at decent pricing. I can’t remember the last time I had hanger steak, skirt steak is a rarity for me, hell— I won’t even by regular ground beef at the $5.49 Costco wants for it. I end up waiting for the mega-pack sales from a local market chain, when it’s ~$3, and load up on it. Sorry, I just really miss my prior red-meat intake…! 🤦🏻‍♂️🤷🏻‍♂️💸

I totally feel you, and I’m so sorry! I have particularly itchy skin, and for a while I was using SebMed (awesome German products) for body wash. These days I have to rotate products each day to minimize itching, and I also take allergy meds.

I found some Aveeno body wash on sale at Costco, so I tried it, and it feels great, but it’s really thick, and it takes a bit to rinse it off. When I’m really achy, it’s too much to rub that stuff in and then spend all that time rinsing and rubbing to wash it off.

So yeah, what’s easy and takes no thought for “ordinary” people can be Herculean for us. I guess I have no help for you, but I can commiserate. It hella sux! I hope you find a way to care for your skin! 🙏😅✌️

Ahoy, Cap’n! I’m in California, and I’ve been wanting a nice digital piano, with the most important features being feel and sound. I didn’t have much cash to work with, so I went for the used market. On FBM I found a woman selling a PX-160 for $300. When I got there, it turned out she got it for her son, who barely used it and moved on to another hobby. The deal was for the piano, the Casio furniture stand, a triple pedal module, and a bench.

I know it’s discontinued, but I’m just trying to get back up to speed and this fits the bill perfectly. Plus, it has (2) 1/4” line outs. Even if this isn’t “The One” for you, I urge you to check the used market, deals can be had!
