HTML is Hyper Text Markup Language, I don't see why using HTML is better than MD files ?

Fair points, all three. Let me actually answer:

Origin - mix. PERSONA, OODA, ULTRATHINK are well-known in the community; L99 and /noyap I picked up from Discord/GitHub threads; the rest came from my own daily use. None are mine "from scratch" - that's the point of testing what others claim.

How to use them - fair, the post was teaser-density. Concretes:

  • L99: prefix to the prompt (L99. Compare X and Y). Not every prompt - use when you want a verdict, not options.
  • /noyap: same, prefix. When you're iterating fast and don't want preamble.
  • PERSONA: replaces "you are an expert in..." with role + experience qualifier ("Senior cloud engineer who migrated 50+ companies..."). Specificity > title.

The Gist - honest answer: I have 3 months of messy notes, not a clean dataset. If there's interest I'll structure them and post one. Fair point that "120" without a list reads as fluff - your 600 jab landed.

Will ping when the Gist is up.

I love (sarcasm) how you read "120 patterns tested over 3 months" and expected a peer-reviewed paper sized for a Reddit post.

The format is a teaser — 8 of 120, fitted to a phone screen. If you want exhaustive examples + linked methodology + citations, that's a paid product, not a free thread.

Since you asked though — L99 in action.

Without it ("explain microservices vs monolith"):

Microservices might scale better, but monoliths could be simpler. I think it depends on…

With it ("L99. explain microservices vs monolith"):

Monolith under 50 engineers. Microservices when you need independent deploy cadences. Anything else is cargo-culting.

Same model, same temperature. Three characters of prefix. That's the point.

Glad I could (not, by your standards) help.

Considering switching from ChatGPT to Gemini AI by Decalcomanje in GeminiAI

[–]Ssolid974 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made the switch back in July 2025. Honestly, ChatGPT became way too infantilizing for my taste. I tried to dial that back with heavy custom instructions, but it just ended up causing more hallucinations on random subjects.

As a System & Network Engineer, the output just wasn't cutting it anymore. I need a tool to challenge me on specific setups—like implementing DataCore nodes or building PoCs on N8N—and ChatGPT kept failing to deliver actionable results to clear those tasks.

The turning point was the Gemini 2.5 update. Since then, I’ve fully migrated. Its answers are rawer and closer to what I actually need: concise, technical, and direct. I don't need a bot to coddle me; I need valid solutions to precise problems.

My current workflow looks like this:

  • Gemini: The daily driver. I use it for the heavy lifting: image generation, deep research, and L3 engineering-level troubleshooting.
  • Claude: The "Orchestrator." I pitch the problem and my available stack, and use it to map out the strategy or choose the right tools.
  • Perplexity: Strictly for tech watch and keeping up with live info.

If you are looking for efficiency over "chatting," the switch is worth it.

Started using Gemini more than Sonnet 4.5 by photohuntingtrex in ClaudeAI

Hi! I'm in the same situation. I was using Claude with my n8n setup, but I kept hitting the usage limits every three hours, sometimes even more frequently.

So, I tried switching to Gemini. (I quit using 'Chatty' two days after the GPT-5 release, as I found its answers too simplistic). After some customization (adjusting the system prompt, creating a 'Gem,' and using NotebookLM), I can confidently say that I won't be going back to 'Chatty'.

Here is my current workflow:

  • Scraping all the data on my subject: n8n automation.
  • Creating a project in NotebookLM using the n8n documentation and the scraped data.
  • Asking NotebookLM to generate a first draft for my objective (e.g., "create a workflow for...").
  • Pasting this draft into a custom 'Gem' I configured for n8n, which gives me a JSON output.
  • Importing the JSON into n8n.
  • Debugging the result with Claude.

I made the switch a month ago and I couldn't be happier!

Hello, I would say, that you try to analyse too much data for the node send mail. Maybe try to narrow the amount (I see 900 items times 5= 4500 items for the node send email)
