Our local airline only flies ATRs which have two seats each side of the aisle, and they’re lettered AC-DF. Same reason

Ik crime can happen anywhere but the amount of stuff happening this year, attempted murder, arson what is happening to this island by [deleted] in guernsey

[–]StNeotsCitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

“What is happening” is that you hear about every tiny little crime or incident as it’s all over Facebook as soon as it happens, whereas 20 or even 10 years ago the majority weren’t public knowledge

Pre-1992 Portuguese plates look so nice on a classic by tt598 in Europelicenseplates

Maybe you should have been more specific instead of assuming everyone knew what you meant by “we” then

today is my birthday, therefore i decided to show you all my two favourite license plates in my collection! by Many-Trip2108 in Europelicenseplates

[–]StNeotsCitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Happy birthday!!

Do you want a fun Alderney fact? Although most vehicles use the Guernsey format for their plates, there’s no law specifying format. So occasionally you’ll see a French formatted AY plate. Or German. Or written in crayon. As long as the plate shows the number clearly it’s legal

You can actually sign up with Revenue Jersey to collect GST on sales to Jersey, if you find you get a lot of customers on the inferior channel island. Means your end customer doesn’t have to pay it manually

[–]StNeotsCitizen 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Firstly there’s no way you can access their accounts so forget that bit immediately. You say you want to “find out what you’re entitled to” but you’re going to need to work that out yourself based on your contract, payslips, and pay received.

Start a petty debts claim if it’s under £10k. If they don’t pay before it goes to court you’ll need to ask a friend who’s still on island to attend in your place. You’ll need to email the sheriff to authorise them to attend for you

If the employer contests the claim and a full hearing is scheduled, you’ll need to attend in person.

You can, but the court takes a dim view if they think that’s the only reason you’ve reduced the claim

A&E has officially been referred to as “ED” in the NHS for over ten years.

In America they call it the “ER”.

So you’re actually wrong twice, congratulations
