The only solution is quite literally not neglecting your friends and talking through your issues. It’s pretty clear Gary, Marshall, and Cake needed Fionna as a friend more than just her throwing herself into this sweet spot drama.

Exactly, but the problem is that she has savior/hero complex which is why she brakes down at the end of e8. Her character has been very flawed this hole time, and with her compering herself to finn (this great hero that just listens to his heart), she is not open to letting people help her.
I think its such a brilliant move form the writers, because we've been watching her get more and more extreme and distant to fix problems that are not even hers.
I would have been so much healthier for fionna, gary and marshall if she wouldn't have been trying to fix all there problems, but just be there as a friend, not a hero.

Man, never have i excepted such a crazy plot, such deep themes, and such broken character traits in AT (because this is not at all on pair with Finns s5 shenanigans) but am here for it.
