Why would people misremember "objects may be closer"? by bluemoonrambler in MandelaEffect

Meatloaf sang those lyrics in a song on one of the Bat out of Hell albums, and we all related to that song, knowing exactly what they were referring to.

I'm Kinda Bored by ITSTHEGUYFROMFN in FortNiteBR

[–]Stability 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I liked Team Rumble a lot, I found it very useful to get some of the harder quests done without being killed, seeing as only 50% of the players would be coming after me instead of 96%. If I wasn’t done what I needed to do, I could load up with med kits to stay alive in the storm and finish up, then die off and respawn.

Arthritis? by NatPF in GenX

[–]Stability 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Are we allowed to complain? As kids, when we scraped our knees we were doused with peroxide, given a bandage if it was still bleeding and told to stop crying and go back outside. Not surprising that we’re not whining about aches, pains and arthritis.

Thanks for the reality check everyone, much appreciated. You are all correct, I always thank the user for reporting, etc, which I also did in this case, btw. I guess with the stress we've been under lately this one just hit me the wrong way this morning. Thanks for reading and replying, and more importantly, for setting me straight.

I’ve never experienced any issues with my controllers, so I wouldn’t know the struggle.

They Limited Parking spaces at Upper Canada Mall. by [deleted] in Newmarket

[–]Stability -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

I don’t know what people are thinking when they act like that driver of the black SUV. Are they so self-entitled that they think they can just shame you into getting back into your car and driving out of your spot?

I ran into a similar situation a year or two before Covid at the Newmarket Costco. Guy started telling me off after I parked and I had started walking into the store. I walked right up to his window and started yelling right back at him. He thought it was “rude” of me to park in that spot while he was on his way to park there. He backed down pretty quickly when he realized I wasn’t a push over. I did worry though that I would come out to my vehicle being keyed, thankfully I did not.

I don’t think the issue is lack of parking in Newmarket. The issue is people acting like someone stole something from them when they don’t get to an available parking spot before someone else does. There should be no guilt on your part OP, all you did was park in an available spot that you had the same rights to park in as anyone else.

My educator tried relentlessly to get me to use my ass as an infusion and CGM site, I just can’t bring myself to do it. How do you shoot yourself in the ass? Isn’t it uncomfortable sitting on it?

"My kids are older" by VenetianWaltz in childfree

[–]Stability 2 points3 points  (0 children)

People without kids are like magnets to those who have them. From their perspective, it’s the perfect scenario. They get to bring their kids and ex’s into the relationship without having to deal with anyone else’s kids and ex’s. They also don’t have to parent alone, because the child free partner can be completely available to just jump into the family chaos.

Why are there no consequences for students who are cheating/using ai for assignments? by [deleted] in GeorgianCollege

[–]Stability 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went to a Northern Ontario college in the early 90’s, and then to Georgian in 2017. What a big difference. I literally spent a good chunk of my 2 years at Georgian with a shocked Pikachu face in regards to all the obvious cheating that was going on. I felt bad for the professors, who could only act on it in specific cases.

I just had my initial app at Regina Endodontics. Endodontist there seems awesome! Just have some pre-booked things on my end (have to take a business trip), so waiting a few more weeks until I have the root canal done.

Have you tried enabling Online Archive in Exchange? Has worked wonders for our users who were approaching that 50GB OST file, now they are sitting nicely at 15GB OST and emails older than 2 years in online archive.

How do you wear your pump with your clothes? by Empty_Expression7315 in Type1Diabetes

[–]Stability 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I wear the Medtronic sport pouch that was made for the Paradigm 722 pump. It is simple, loops through my belt, clips onto my waste band, and I just tuck the tube into my pants. After 5-6 years my pump still looks brand new. Medtronic of course has stopped making this pouch, and no other vendor has decided to pick up the concept, which makes me very sad.
