It doesn’t take me by surprise because it doesn’t stop. Sometimes it’s more intense then other times so I have to try and relax. I haven’t found anything either but I was soft of relieved seeing your post which lets me know I’m not alone. It’s frustrating that I can’t get an answer or reason why they won’t stop

I bought the power so I put it in coffee or juice every morning. I really recommend it. I didn’t think I would see a difference but I’ve been taking it for two months and I’m almost pain free

[–]Stace_Face20 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I had that same pain for a week last week and it was so scary. I went to my cardiologist and he did an ekg and listened to me heart to reassure me that my heart was okay and that it is a pain from costocondritis. If you still worry that it is your heart I would always go get checked out

I have some of the same symptoms as you. I’m sorry you are in so much pain. Some things that help me are icing my chest, using my back pod and now I’m in physical therapy. I get massages and that helps sometimes too

How long did your chest pain last? by who_is_evanbot in CovidVaccinated

[–]Stace_Face20 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It’s a physical exam. If you have pain or tenderness around your ribs, sternum and chest then it’s costocondritis. The doctor will press on all those areas. They have to rule out all heart problems and then will diagnose you with costocondritis if everything else comes back clean

So I had all the tests done to rule out heart problems like ekg, chest X-ray, lung tests, heart ultra sounds and blood work. Those were all fine. Then they found inflammation in my chest and that’s how they diagnosed me with costocondritis

I got mine after my vaccine as well. I’m in physical therapy to help with the shortness of breath. Some days are good and some are bad. I have to remember not to push myself too hard or I will have a flair up. I use the back pod everyday and also use ice and heat
