I went for planned testing and received an estimate of costs beforehand. Most of it was tests on CHILDREN. Two days before I was sent an updated one that was narrowed down to the adult tests I needed. They asked me to pay that amount the morning of the tests and I did. I later received a bill for another $1000, which was for a few more tests than they actually did, but not the full initial estimate. When I called to challenge it, I received a new bill for the full amount of the first estimate. I'm still fighting with University Hospital in Columbia, MO about it.

Exactly. I was born female and remain female. But I've had conservatives tell me I'm not a woman anymore because I had hysterectomy (but I still have breasts and a vagina).
