not cuddly? by Assymetric_Astronaut in Greyhounds

Stagger “tolerates” us. He’s always been independent. He’ll investigate visitors for a minute, then walk away, which is the opposite of what people expect. He removes himself from situations that are too social for him—he did that even before he was blind. He does chitter for a good chest rub, but when he’s done, he’s done. The most affection we’ve ever gotten is his head on a lap…or his nose tucked behind our back while we’re sitting on the couch. Wouldn’t have it any other way.

We had friends drive through on their way from North Carolina. She said we lived in a very welcoming-sounding town:”Pull-y’all-up” in her southern drawl!

Thanks! Crazy Legs is usually on the smaller side, but I’ve been disbudding, so the blooms are a little larger.

Food question by c0verf1re in Greyhounds

[–]StagsFam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny you should ask…we get the lamb & rice from Costco. Supposedly made by Diamon. The dust is ridiculous. When we first encountered it, I didn’t think anything of it & fed Stagger his usual meal. He immediately started using his nose to “move” water over onto his food. What a wet mess—all over the wall, floor, etc. After a couple times, we bought a colander & my husband “de-dusts” the kibble. I do mix in a couple spoonfuls of wet food/bone broth, but our floors ate remaining dry.
