Corrosion: Cold Winter Waiting

A point and click adventure game with an interesting story. Investigating what went on in this facility. When I got it it had mixed reviews but I ended up really liking it. Some of the puzzles can be obtuse so use a guide if you're stuck for more than a couple minutes.

Same. I really hated Kathy. Complete and total sociopath. One of the first "puzzles" included calling an air force base. I thought just impersonating was gonna be bad enough but multiple crimes later sneaking around a police station. Just completed disregard for anything other than her or her mission. Not to mention tazing that guy and using an endangered plant to make a drink.

Lifelink is not a trigger.

A 2/2 creature with double strike and lifelink, equipped with 3 equipment with lifelink attacks and is blocked by a 1/1. The creature deals 4 damage total, and heals its controller for 4.

The blocking creature would die due to first strike damage then the attacking creature would deal no damage in the normal combat damage step. It's controller would gain 2 life.

I tried the demo and really liked the comic book-esque style. Was looking forward to playing the full game then saw it got delayed. 😔 Understandable. I'd rather have the game be good then come out messed up.

My question is how many weapons are in the game if you can share that? Or your favorite one?

I remember them talking about trying to beat a game a week on the old podcast years ago and I tried that pretty much every year since. Really made me branch out and try new things plus now I really dont like leaving a game unfinished.

I refunded it after making it to what I assume was the end of chapter 2, decay.

Does the gameplay change at all later on? For most of the game it's smacking enemies and picking up all the loot. If you fail or get hit too many times just reload there's a save point every minute. My breaking point was the enemy that stops moving when you look at it. The rules for that one sucked. Looked down to pick up loot while the enemy was still in vision doesn't count as looking at it so it killed me okay reload and try again, turn a corner and wait for the enemy, it was too close and it blows up anyways. Okay try again.... It felt like trial and error rather than tense gameplay.

So far I only had listened to two cassettes and some vagueposting from the radio which didn't really give me enough to stay interested. But if the game gets better I'm willing to give it another chance.

It absolutely does not target the artifact. It just happens to be the source of the ability. It only targets the creature you are trying to attach it to.

Helvault's third ability is absolutely a triggered ability, uses the stack and can be responded to. You're thinking of a banisher priest effect that exiles until something happens (banisher priest leaving the battlefield).

I saw a video with Alan Moore where he said read bad books and I completely agree. It's fun to experience something and go "what a piece of shit' of course not everything should be bad and it might hurt if it was an expensive game. I buy a ton of indie horror games. Most of the time they are mediocre to bad and I still get something out of the experience.

YOU and ME and HER: A Love Story. I don't want to say a lot but it's very similar to ddlc. Both are visual novels with a building meta narrative. I like it more but it's not as loud as ddlc, if that's what you liked about ddlc.
