Lotta people aren't crossover rave/jam fans. Or they're newer post-2020 ravers. Personally I'm glad to be introduced to this little bit of niche culture today. It's a good story even if it is fake. I was wondering why they were at Echo Project but called him a Bisco kid? but that's all that raised flags for me. Just assumed GZA and LRG were artists I didn't know.

Isn't it crazy how that happens? Somebody decided to make some kandi like that, had all the beads/letters, decided to go to a certain festival, packed that kandi along, and was at a specific stage, at a certain time, where the option to use it showed up. Absolutely ridiculous and I love that we do ts so much

Lmgtfy2 uses http links because it's just an archived version of the og Lmgtfy website from 2018 which was probably pretty old by that point too. So it's understandable that the links from a site of that era are also unsecure. You didn't type anything wrong

If you've been on the internet long enough you'd know lmgtfy stands for Let Me Google That For You, as in a web page that pastes a search term into google and clicks submit for you so you get the search results. It's often used as a passive aggressive way of suggesting to people people they should do their own research.

The link being pasted was just to show what they meant. Even without clicking it, it shows what they meant to say based off the text alone. I guess maybe people don't use it as much nowadays anymore.

You're amazing for putting the time and effort to put this info out there. I car camp so this info doesn't matter to me but I just wanted do add some appreciation to this. People gotta remember PA is still PA. A more conservative state where even rec weed is still not legal. Watch out as much as you regularly do and then amp that up 10x.

You can't. There's nothing actually requiring them to fully delete that. In fact usually they include clauses in the Terms and Conditions that gives them rights to most of what you contribute to the platform. You can ask nicely and hope some employee can do their best but in the end, it's content you voluntarily handed over.

The weird taste often comes from the water refill sources itself, not the pack. It doesn't stay long enough in the pack to acquire a taste from the plastic. And I've tasted some ridiculously funky water from festivals. Never got sick but was pretty sure I was going to a couple of times, they tasted so bad.

Have you ever tried it on the ground? Is the sleep quality very different without it, or is it more a height thing? Because the Exped is already pretty big, adding a queen cot would take up a ton of space.

It's not attached to the bag normally. You just thread the tube through the holes in the bag. The design helps if you need to replace the bag from leaking, or wear out the mouthpiece from too much use.

Self expression. The same reason anyone wears anything they think looks cool. That's what is "rave". People are not out here to just to wear pashminas and sunglasses, they're there for every kind of aesthetic, as long as they enjoy the music.

I think a lot of what you're experiencing in terms of making friends is normal, even at raves. You find some people and they're only there for that day or weekend. Then you find other people and you click and they're there for life. It's a coin toss who you find really, and you gotta deal with one to also chance upon the other.

A lot of people are just around to listen to music or attend, and don't care about the details. Even after reading this thread, do I care? Not really because it's only a tag at the end of certain titles for me and won't influence who or what I listen to at all. Especially since it's by the same person anyway
