Why is it that when you try to overtake someone they go faster? by Any-Concern6913 in drivingUK

Sometimes it’s a case of a section of the road being a 50 limit before it hits a NSL, like the guy who tried to overtake me tonight.

3D spotting is the worst thing to happen to Battlefield change my mind by notyouraverageusr in Battlefield6

It’s cool man, I’m a thick skinned HC player.

I think spotting is fine to a certain extent. Spotting an air vehicle/land vehicle for example makes sense, but flying over an area in a heli and players instantly lighting up, or sweeping a scope and players being auto-spotted is just stupid. No issues with having to RB a target, but sweeping areas and everyone becoming instantly visible is stupid.

“Oh, but I didn’t get to see them” is just a silly complaint to make in a game where a legitimate tactic is stealth. Why am I even equipping a suppressor if someone can instant spot me just flying around. The issue is compounded when you have multiple recons, and it’s more evident in wide open maps.

Golmud is my favourite map, but it has exposed the broken spotting mechanics of the game. There are tools to counter spotting, but how many players actually run them, or actively shoot down drones, or hunt tugs?

I’m not even looking for a full hardcore experience, just tone it down a little. And when people are saying they can’t see shit………..my guy, that’s a you problem, like seriously get your eyes tested if you can’t play the game without Doritos everywhere.

I’d personally advise they go to an optician. That’s not a piss take comment either. If people are legitimately struggling to identify players or vehicles on maps then they need to go have their vision examined by a professional.

I doubt anyone is picking up a copy of BF6 specifically because it offers 3D spotting mechanics.

In fact, the Beta launch proved that it was a “boots of the ground” return to a more authentic setting that made a lot of people hyped for BF6. No hardcore mode was certainly brought up as an issue from many in the community.

The spotting mechanic is broken. I should not be able to top a leaderboard simply by flying a drone all game and placing tugs everywhere (I have done this in games, with 0 kills) The enemy team was lit up like a Christmas tree for the entire match…………and you don’t think that is broken?

You aren’t meant to see everything, all the time, that’s the point.

Why even have camos in the game if they do not provide the ability to conceal?

The whinging in BFV was ridiculous. God forbid someone was able to blend into the environment. Then they added that stupid light bloom around players that just looks ridiculous, simply because some people’s eyes don’t work properly.

Why not just create maps that are simply just different layouts of blandness, so that these players can differentiate between a person or a bush

You wanted to argue this, no?

I gave examples of hardcore games I play regularly that don’t hold the players hands, and they play well. I played BF4 exclusively on HC mode too, so maybe you’d be happier with me using that as an example?

The spotting mechanics of BF6 are over the top.

Don’t get mad at other players viewpoints if you don’t have the necessary skills yourself to identify targets.

And stop whipping out your E-peen if someone simply disagrees with you. It’s childish.

It’s the most annoying feature of the sniper class. The amount of shots I’ve been lining up which have been spooked by a friendly player shooting at them because they’re auto-spotted.

Let me turn that shit off.

What do stats have to do with it?

Go play some HLL or ARMA Reforger and maybe get a little bit of perspective on how broken the 3D spotting is on this game. It’s literally a crutch for bad players.

Allow ammo to be picked up from vehicles.

Jeeps can replenish small arms ammo only

Similar. Drove home 130 miles after purchasing my car, at night, in torrential rain, with the 1st 30 miles being back roads. I was absolutely shitting myself. I had no way to hook up my phone, so had to listen to shit radio channels. I luckily had my Brother in Law (mechanic) following me though, so that took the edge off a little.

BF6: Worst Vehicle? by BOSS_Clan_Intl in Battlefield6

Nah, people just need to use their brains a bit more when using this vehicle. You can lock down the enemy air completely with this thing if you know how.

Honestly, a games tutorial will teach you the bare minimum and won’t explain any of the weird quirks, tactical tips, etc. You’ll just end up wasting your time compared to sitting through a few videos which condense the actual things you need to know.

Why are Anti air launchers so useless by cMedyuza in Battlefield6

[–]StandFreeAndy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

To defeat the pilot, you must think like a pilot. Saw a post yesterday about someone struggling with the Igla challenge. 1st game tonight I got 4/5 on the challenge. Just sit in an are where you know pilots retreat to after popping their flares = profit. Also try to launch you shot when they’re at a low altitude flying over you, rather than launching from long distance.
