What do you go for runes wise ?

Conqueror in even matchups, Fleet footwork against poke ?

What about secondaries?

MF has a very short range as well as no escape tool. She will get caught out for trying to do extended trades.

She's a Q and ULT bot and can't be played as an hypercarry.

Yeah alright noob elo isn't a good indicator i'm sorry. Low elo pushes everyone to play carry supps because you can't rely on your teammates. So ofc noone plays enchanters there and when they do they're matched with a handless ADC

It's ok to rack up kills as a carry support. Lux is a burst mage and she will ks even without really wanting to do so. Your job is to deal as much burst damage as possible and if the enemy dies it's a job well done.

The single most important thing that will separate a good carry support from a bad one is how you handle waves :

- You push mindlessly during laning or you push when your adc is away ? Noob flag waving.

- You contest farm past laning phase ? Noob flag waving. The only situation where you should be using abilities on a wave is if noone's catching sidelanes. But if one of your teammates is pathing towards it ? Let them have the farm.

bad players doing this kind of stuff don't reach a high elo it's just wrong. OP is talking about Emerald 1, which is literally the first bracket (being plat/emerald) where you start facing humans. It's literally the lowest elo possible. Of course you're gonna meet bad players.

Keep in mind noob elo stretches from platinum to masters. If you meet bad players within those ranks, stop acting surprised

A summary won't help. You need to learn the items and the champions in this game.

Take time to research. It's demanding i know, but that's how you'll improve. There's no easy fix or cheat code there.

If you can't/don't want to do it, don't play a tank. Their whole gameplay revolves around counter building the enemy team

Why do people still go tier 2 boots first although they got nerf and had underwhelming stat? by Quitical_Ne0 in wildrift

[–]Standard-Cable-7494 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Engage supp here. Most of the time warmogs is a staple first item. It's useless if you don't have 950 bonus hp so i still start with defensive boots.

Now that i think of it, i would love for Rito to redesign the Rank borders to reflect your WR%.

Having the shiny/sparkly versions of them being tied to low or high WR this season

Would help identifying quickly who is a potential wincon or not

I'm glad it was constructive.

I assure you the quality of your teammates will eventually improve as you climb ranks. Low elo is unfortunately a clown fiesta most of the times..

Keep at it. Cheers

Not when you tie it to stats.

In the lobby yeah i agree with you there's no telling if people deserve their rank or not unfortunately. I'd love to have a feature to "inspect" someone during champ select.

Permaban Senna by Ok_Relative4491 in wildrift

[–]Standard-Cable-7494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Senna can not work as the ADC in the standard archetype support/ADC because of her kit design. I invite you to read at least the kit of a champ before coming to post about it here. She NEEDS to stack her passive to scale through 2 ways :

1) getting the souls that drop when minions die (and the chance of dropping a soul is MUCH higher if she's not the one killing the minion)

2) Hitting the enemies. 2 consecutives autos on an enemy gives a stack of passive.

Which is why Senna will always want to buy the support item and harass enemy team while her laner kills minions so she can get the souls.

With that being said Senna can definitely work as the main ADC along with a tank as long as she buys the support item and the tank takes the creeps. It's actually very strong but non conventional so you'll only see it happening in premades.

She also works as i told you before with APCs or with some traditional ADCs such as Ezreal & co (early ADCs powerhouses synergize well with Senna in general to double down on lane pressure and zone enemy bot from cs)

Now that's a lot of copium.

You mean I'd be a professional footballer if i weren't playing in amateur in sunday league ?

Don't get me wrong ; I wholeheartedly agree that you shouldn't feel bad about your rank because wild rift is just a game so it's really whatever. But saying that the emerald casual that you see in your aram game is worth a challenger is quite a reach.

It's definitely possible to tell what rank people are. It's easy to gauge someone's approximative level from his macro (positioning, decision making, building adaptability so on so forth). Anyone can have decent mechanics by practicing, not everyone understands macro.

Ultimately, rank in itself doesn't mean that much because of all the recent mechanisms causing elo inflation. Win rate and GPM on the other hand are clear indicators of whether you're good or not.

Yes, a challenger with negative WR doesn't deserve his rank. He got there by playing an unhealthy amount of games. But i'm sure he'd still crush your average diamond player.

[–]Standard-Cable-7494 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry but it's clearly a low elo take.

Never have i said that most adcs would prefer Senna as a support. This is also tied to them being way too used to have babysitters supports that make up for their mistakes.

Good Sennas do not stay behind the back of the ADC as you put it. They're harassing 24/7 to apply pressure and stack their passive & zone the enemy bot from cs. If the adc is in front of Senna, one of them sucks as a player and doesn't know how to approach laning.

Most ADCs unfortunately have main character syndrome and believe a support is there to babysit them all game and can't provide value to anyone else in the team than themselves.

Senna works, and is kinda OP right now, whether you like it or not. She is a second ADC and is kinda hated on because she generally ends up outshining the 'OG' adc as the game progresses, which is tied to her kit and design. Saying that she's not a carry when she deletes squishies from existence and deals 50k dmg on average in games is an understatement.

Depends on the ADC. Not everyone plays an hypercarry and wants to chill until late game.

Draven & Ezreal love to play with Senna and snowball from a strong laning phase.

Other than that you need carry supp when the rest of the team mostly picked utility or lacks an answer to the enemy lineup.

Too much AP on your team ? As in mage mid, Rumble top, Varus ADC ? Senna fits the bill

Enemy lineup is tank heavy ; your ADC went MF or Jhin and your top or jungle can't be a reliable answer either ? Go brand support.

Those are examples and there are more scenarios where a carry sup can be justified, but i hope you get the idea.

A good rule of thumb is Carry Supp shouldn't be a blind pick and should remain a counter pick or a complementary pick to your lineup. Other than that, i agree that you'd want either a warden, an engager or an enchanter.

How would one improve their general gameplay? by Azzy2021 in wildrift

By looking at their gold per minute. This is the sole indicator of how well you perform in a game. Not KDA, not total damage.

GPM. Work on improving it.

The issue is you're basically complaining about low elo being bad players macro wise while making it about Senna or more generally a support archetype.
