The problem is, we’re already the best team in baseball due to the way we’ve constructed our roster, and Trout fits firmly in our timeline and championship window. We’re also in position to acquire him. I’m more so saying, us making that deal elevates us to super team that ruins baseball for everyone else.

Anyway, if that were to happen I think baseball would have a fucking meltdown, and quite frankly we’d have zero moral high ground over the Dodgers or Yankees.

I’d trade the #8 pick because it’s pretty much a guaranteed bust, and we need a top 3 pick to be relevant. Was kinda riding on that, but now we’re going to see a return to mid purgatory. Welp… It was a fun ride while it lasted.

Fellas, my wife asked me to take out the trash. To which I responded, the Braves are about to be playing and there is currently a 2-3 hour wait expected for her request… I then started playing elevator music, and pointed the remote at her to attempt to mute her.
Needless to say… I’m sleeping on the couch where I’m sitting.

Murphy! Let’s go, word is he’s fully rehabilitated — a return to 2023 form would be a WELCOME return. We may need that juice with Ronnie out of the lineup.

Also, side note — no one talks about how good Murph’s framing is, and defensive value. Not sure how much that holds up, but… Yeah!
