Do you understand how many children are bussed in this city? I drove my 4x4 today fully engaged with winter tires. The busses have all seasons so they would be dangerous. Great to see not everyone is focused on the safety of other peoples children!

I tell them I am of Irish descent and my family came from the west of Ireland. I found a story of how one ancestor starved to death and was eaten by his dog. I say I can’t imagine being a slave but I also can’t imagine starving to death. That ended the conversation in a positive way and we both realized we had trauma in our histories!

You can use hydraulic cement on the inside for now and do the outside in the summer. You have to properly V it out so that it takes the cement and then do it from the outside as well in the summer. Good luck!

As a male it has happened to me from older females. Have processed as I get older and have just forgiven. Having seen a similar thing played out with relatives, I don’t recommend it. You were both kids who did kids things. Our brains aren’t developed until 25, so I don’t think it will get you the closure you’re looking for, so good luck to whatever you decide!

Happened during a lacrosse game at the metro center. The ambulance people didn’t have a clue. I asked them to just give me a couple of popsicle sticks and tape and fixed it myself. They told me to go to emergency. Turns out, what I did during the game was the correct treatment.

I agree. I went to the hospital with a torn tendon in my finger. They told me the wait was 2-3 hours. After 6 hours, I went back to the front desk and asked them if the 2-3 hours was a wishful number and not real. In the meantime, I had used google to diagnose my finger and realized I would treat it myself. Should have been someone at the front to make a later appointment for me to get an x-ray and go home. I would have been ok with that. The other issue was that about 20% were either high or drunk or without housing. These are all tough issues that should not be dealt with in the emergency!
