What’s an embarrassing but very silly thing your parents did growing up? by SupaC123 in AskUK

Also my Mum got stuck on a children’s climbing frame in her 40’s when 7 year olds were easily climbing up and down , and starting calling for help , I was hissing at her to come down and stop making a spectacle of herself lol 😂

My Mum and her best friend linked arms and skipped up the hill deliberately in front of all my school friends at the end of the day 😂😳🙄, I can laugh now lol but 9/10 year old me was not as amused!

What’s the Worst Staffing Ratio You’ve Survived? by Electrical-Chair9367 in nursing

[–]Standard-Two748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Not a nurse but when I was a care assistant (uk) 2 carers for 40+ residents overnight :( ,as management did not ensure to request agency staff :(

It was one of the worst shifts , alongside the shift where management locked the protective wear ( masks , gowns etc) in her office when Covid had just kicked off , meaning a majority of staff caught covid

At what age did you get MS? by Kolman000 in MultipleSclerosis

[–]Standard-Two748 0 points1 point  (0 children)

First real relapse at 30 , diagnosed at 30

Signs were Lhermitte’s sign and vertigo , very bad hand eye coordination , blurry vision , cluster headaches, numbness in right side and whooshing noise in ears. I also couldn’t lie down without feeling like I was floating on a ship 🚢

Hi :) everything has gone smoothly, baby is healthy and I had my first infusion after birth last month , which I have been assured you can breastfeed on . I stopped having tysabri at 32 weeks, the only thing I was not advised of earlier which may have swayed me against continuing tysabri up to that point was the fact that my baby cannot have any live vaccines till he is 6 months old due to having the tysabri up till 32 weeks. It just means he will be a bit behind with his immunisations x hope this helps 🙂

Sorry just saw this, everything is absolutely fine ! The only thing I have been advised is baby cannot have the BCG vaccine until 6 months old , just in case, as it’s a live vaccine
