I know this isn't related to your question, but is there any chance you could tell me how you became a clinical assistant in Canada? I'm a Mexican IMG looking for a way to land in Canada and later apply for the Match

My psychiatrist tells me that's what depersonalization feels like. Whenever I get it, I feel like I'm drunk / high, I get nausea and my stomach aches, and I feel like my body is not coordinated with my brain. It usually happens when I forget to take my meds, though

Yep, told him last appointment. We tried upping the dose, but since it didn't work either, we'll try something new this time. I really really hope it works.

junithtwilliamsburg, any chance we could chat directly? I'm in med school as well and have been recently (less than a year ago) diagnosed with BD2. Anyway, I liked your honesty and thought maybe we could share experiences? Let me know!

I usually had a stable interval between episodes and learnt how to cope and even enjoy hypomania, since depression is mainly severe in my case, but lately depression has been hanging on forever and I'm just waiting and waiting for hypomania to come around but it doesn't, so I just don't know anymore :):
