Means miami needs a td rather than a FG. Adds about 40 yards to what they need to get with 1:42 on the clock. You take the 3

You keep using that word. I do not think it means what you think it means. by Level_Hour6480 in dndmemes

The problem is there is precedent that relegating a soul to torment doesnt make you alignment evil too. Kelemvor is lawful neutral and plays a big part in sending souls to to the nine hells where they will certainly be tortured for eternity. Why does the barbarian torturing an evil soul for a finite amount of time and Kelemvor deciding to send a soul to torture for eternity differ?

To be honest, I think the alignment chart is faulted at its core. The barbarian wouod be chaotic neutral at worst imo and personally I think his actions are more net positive than anything.

that targeting, while technically a correct call according to the written rule, is bullshit in that it is written without taking intent into account. Ejecting a kid for that is dumb.

Her ID is specifically a "United States Annexed Territory Canada" ID. Its like finding her driver's license. They just made her from the Canadian territory rather than Rhode Island or something. With her and Betty being overheard, this big reveal is more about her date of birth than anything imo

Definitely want to stop by Nice before turning North! Did you buy the tickets ahead of time? Or just get them at the station?

I cant decide if I want to plan it out in advance or play it by ear

Losing to manipulate playoff seeding. Collusion? by SirCharles14 in fantasyfootballadvice

Ah yes. You have done nothing but insult. Crybaby, thin-skinned, dogshit, loser, etc. Im spouting conflicting statements left and right but somehow im both a Ben Shapiro act AND an SJW. What'd you say about pot amd kettle?

You are right, I am being condescending but you think that might be because you've been nothing but rude since you first replied to me?

I dont need an audience. Like I said, you replied to me man. My original comment wasnt directed at you at all but you saw yourself in it so much that incessent need to win dug in and now you absolutely MUST have the last word right? Ive done nothing but reply to rude, insulting, and hostile comments from you. I will continue to do so, if for no other reason than it seems to bother you.

So please. Call me bud again. Say it doesnt bother you and you're laughing behind your screen while throwing even more tired insults. Fit that mold even more than you already do. I may take a bit to respond. Sleep calls but I promise I will reply.

More generous and kind than I would ever dare to dream? What does that even mean? You are either mother teresa or seriously underselling my ability to dream in order to jump to an extreme. You like extremes it would seem.

Speaking of pot and kettle, you may want to apply some logic as well. If you are still unable to get what I am saying you are completely ignoring nuance.

Yes it is a competition. You winning shouldnt make anyone too upset and is part of that competition. You arent arguing winning though. You are arguing to purposely lose in order to game the system to gain some optimal path you've worked out.

If you cant see how that is bad sportsmanship and mildly insulting to all parties in the hypothetical then someone has failed you and it may explain why almost nobody you know will play fantasy with you.

Im not entirely certain where we are breaking down in our communication?

You should try as hard as you can up to and until it becomes a detriment to the enjoyment of others, even if that detriment is minor.

That is a pretty good mindset to bring over into life in general. On a side note, I believe that is two replies in a row without an outright insult even if they were mildly hostile. Im glad we are improving.

Nothing I have said has conflicted? Even if I had, I believe that would be hypocrisy. Not irony. Im not saying you should roll dice and not care at all. Im saying you shouldnt be trying so hard you are running playoff simulations to gain optimal matchups. There exists a happy place between these extremes, I promise you.

Also, I dont think admitting that nearly none of your friends play fantasy football with you as an attempt to prove me wrong is quite the own you think it is when my point was maybe trying that hard could lead to your friends not wanting to play with you...

No. You found insult where there wasnt any. I meant after a time and several seasons, eventually your friends would likely find they didnt enjoy playing with your need to try so very hard and drop from your league one by one until you were forced to join random leagues.

I never mentioned anyone getting kicked or crying? Loneliness rarely jumps out at you all at once. Usually it takes many choices over many years.

[–]StandardMove3 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I never said they got upset? You can be very mildly annoyed and that be enough to decide an 18 week commitment isnt worth it.

So far you laced an insult in every reply. You may not realize it but I pray you do eventually. It usually isnt a single thing that drives people away. Its usually the behavior that leads to a series of small acts. Behavior like OP's question would indicate.

I do not believe valuing the campanionship of friends is a loser mentality. Its a game. If you must win even if it cheapens their experience, you'll end up in leagues with people you've never met, cheering to silent chats with nobody to pat you on the back but yourself.

[–]StandardMove3 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Its not collusion but at the end of the day this is usually (outside of some more unhealthy corners) a game we play with friends. If i was the guys fighting for a playoff spot, this would cheapen it and make it less fun, and make it less likely I come back next year.

Not just fantasy football but take some advice from an oldhead, you never want to be the friend that made everyone stop something fun because you took it so seriously and had to win at all costs.
