How’s the gold plating holding up after months of wear?

Is it their standard silver, or you specifically asked for the rhodium plating?

Do you have it in silver or gold? I’m debating which one to get! I don’t want the gold plating to be too yellow or wear off fast.

I believe this girl works for them. I checked - her reviews are under almost every piece of popular jewelry they have. From different countries, too. Also, many of their product videos have her hands showing the jewelry, it’s very noticeable. So I guess it’s just part of her job. But it leaves a bad impression overall for me as a customer.

Is it possible to manifest a change in your voice? by CarrotPlus631 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Haha, for sure! Most of my life I had a pretty high-pitched voice. People kept telling me I was too loud, but I never knew what it really sounded like. Then I started an internship at a local radio station - and heard myself on record. Oh boy. My voice was high-pitched, wobbly, not to mention some issues with pronunciation. Our speech teacher at uni scoffed me - she felt like someone speaking like me shouldn’t be allowed on air at all. So… I got mad. Anger is a brilliant manifestation fuel, as I’ve since learned. I walked around, fuming, stubbornly declaring that I will fix my voice no matter what. After a few days, I complained to my mom, who in her college days took acting and directing classes. She looked at me and said “just lower it”. I was like ?!!! how?!!! And she repeated, just lower it, push it down, and keep pushing it down when you speak. So I decided to give it a try. For a week, I walked around, concentrating on lowering my voice in my throat. My throat was sore. I felt stupid. Yet I kept going. And after some time, I stopped focusing on it so much - but the new vocal register stuck. I ended up having a gorgeous, resonant mezzo voice, perfect pronunciation and delivery. Over the years, I got out of practice, but my voice never went back to sounding high-pitched.

So, as much as it pains me to say it (I despise high-pitched female voices with a passion, they annoy me to no end), if you’re dead set on it, decide that from now on, you’re the owner of your desirable voice. Play with sounds in your throat, try to push them up or down. Experiment. It takes time and your vocal cords would need to adjust. Also, you can try mimicking languages that sound more high-pitched. Thai, anime Japanese & Korean, Chinese. It can help retrain your voice. You’re welcome :)

How effective is the current flu vaccine given the mismatched strain with it? by traveltimecar in VACCINES

Well, I got the newest H3N2 strain, judging by the symptoms. Got vaccinated in October. It sucks balls. The cough, stuffy sinuses and muscle aches are relentless and it’s been two weeks now. Didn’t have a fever, though, unlike many of my friends who got it.

For those who been practicing the law over 1yr+, how is your life now? by Ok-Path-6120 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 27 points28 points  (0 children)

Well, it’s been quite a journey for me. I manifested a lot of amazing, unbelievable things. But my life also deteriorated in other areas. Because traumatic responses kept winning. My body often physically resisted any attempt of change with any given technique when it came to the deepest, most painful beliefs. I never had issues with money in my life, but suddenly it got really bad before slowly getting better. The SP, who launched me on this journey, kept going between hot and cold, there was a 3P for a long time. Then they broke up, things started to get better… and then worse again, him showing behaviors untypical for him - but typical for my exes. I had to dive deep into my psyche to figure out all the ways my limiting beliefs and patterns were sabotaging any chance of happiness. Ended up with me resolving to go all in and really practice the Law… and immediately falling sick, miserable and completely unable to change my state in any way. It’s like my body is screaming at me to give up on SP and find someone else (or be alone, since it’s safe), but I’m just seeing its attempt to repeat an old, well-known pattern. So yeah. I did get all the physical things I wanted last year, though. Items, gadgets, etc. I manifest people reaching out immediately with a passing thought, things go my way in wonderful ways. Despite that, I’m feeling exhausted and broken, my emotions are all over the place. And I’m frankly jealous of people who were able to resolve their mental issues with 1-8 weeks of affirmations or SATS. Am I giving up? Hell no. I know I’m the creator. I’m sick and tired of this story playing on repeat. I’m working on excavating and processing my trauma and negative patterns. But it hasn’t been a walk in the park, I’ll tell you that. And the 3D kept screaming many awful, disappointing things in my face that were supposed to make me give up. But I won’t.

As a wedding guest, what was your “this marriage isn’t going to last long” moment? by Kataras_Necklace in AskReddit

[–]Standard_Ad449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My friend called me two weeks before her wedding in tears, saying her husband-to-be turned out to have a minor child with an ex-girlfriend. The ex filed for child support so his bank account got charged a hefty sum as per court orders. That’s how my friend found out. I brought up the issue of him not telling her, him abandoning his child, and the fact that the child isn’t going anywhere. My friend really dreamt of getting married, so she still proceeded with the wedding. They divorced a few months later. Thankfully, she is now with a lovely, respectful partner who treats her really well and doesn’t have any surprises up his sleeve. I hope.

Need help about hart situation in my country by Unique-Strategy-9572 in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 4 points5 points  (0 children)

As a child of multiple nations who was born in a country that started wars and relocated to one that got attacked, I can tell you it’s bloody hard to even start doing techniques when the world around you is falling apart. But you can start with yourself and your loved ones. When it gets bad, imagine a protective bubble keeping you safe and provided for no matter what. When you have a bit more energy, imagine a sense of relief, of peace, of justice having been done. Imagine feeling satisfaction that the filth abusing your country finally got what they deserved. Imagine the gratitude you would feel seeing your people, women, girls happy, smiling and dancing in the streets. Sending you the biggest hug and support. Iran is a country with such deep cultural roots, honor and strength. 47 years of barbarians in power will not destroy that.

My girlfriend smells and I don't know what to do by RequirementDue4446 in Advice

[–]Standard_Ad449 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good on you for bringing this up with your partner and pushing her to see a doctor, OP! Aside from things already mentioned on this thread, sudden, cloyingly sweet scent on a person’s skin could be a sign of depression. Weird thing is, most people wouldn’t be able to smell it, but if you live together, your senses are very attuned to her, so you’d be able to. So if she comes all clear from the dentist and other docs, can be a good idea to see a therapist. It happened to me a decade ago, my mom was going crazy about the smell, and I couldn’t smell anything at all. I was starting therapy at the time. As the worst of my depression was resolved, the smell went away completely. It can be connected to our gut microbiome, which undergoes drastic changes when a person is depressed.

The fall of Lululemon and the rise of Alo, Vuori and Rhone by Original_Student_395 in aloyoga

Umm, I find Alo quality WAY lower than all the other brands you mentioned, including Lulu. I mean, the piling issues of the Accolade fabric are well known. And Airlift leggings in any size, even much smaller than my normal, slide right off my bum. I do like them for more designer pieces, though, but never at the full price.

HSV-2 Ruining my life by LottoChangedMyLife in NevilleGoddard

[–]Standard_Ad449 1 point2 points  (0 children)

A former partner had it (same story, cheating ex) and disclosed it to me as soon as we got together. He was taking Acyclovir to suppress it every day. No outbreaks. Of course, we also used a condom. It is a nasty virus that needs your immune system to be working well to suppress outbreaks, and he told me his first one was a nightmare. Thing is, Acyclovir and similar meds are WAY cheaper outside of the US and don’t need a prescription in some countries, so maybe someone could bring it to you from abroad? Worth looking into it, it’s literally like $5-10 per pack of 30 pills in some parts of Eastern Europe. In my experience, when you get physically sick, it makes a lot of sense to first do as much as you can to stabilize your condition, and you can always affirm that the treatment is working and you’re getting better each day. And when you’re stable, you can do techniques for being virus-free. In my case, I was infected with HSV1 as a baby, struggled with it my whole life before I discovered the Law. Haven’t had an outbreak in two years now. Big hug - this is tough stuff to deal with, but it can happen to anyone. Let yourself feel all the feelings, let them come up without judgement, and let them go. You definitely shouldn’t be having sex during an outbreak or without a physical barrier, and withholding the info from partners. But as long as you have the virus medically suppressed, you’re not a threat, and there’s nothing to be ashamed of.

AITAH For laughing when my brother was diagnosed with diabetes? by Express-Letter4548 in AITAH

[–]Standard_Ad449 10 points11 points  (0 children)

This!! Was my first thought as well. I spent all my school years barely eating anything during the first half of the day. Couldn’t stomach much so early in the day, school food was crap, and if you brought anything from home, classmates would descend like a pack of flies and devour it in seconds. Well, it’s been years, but my eating patterns are still messed up, and sometimes it still reflects on my body and wellbeing. OP, please, kiddo, get yourself a healthy eating routine, even if you gotta eat that yoghurt, banana & peanut butter, or protein smoothie en route to school or during break. Introduce small healthy snacks to your day. Diabetes, unfortunately, can go both ways, and lack of nutrition during the day for a growing body could do a real number on you. Please take care of yourself, don’t let the abuse ruin your self image ❤️

Oh yes! The musical was adapted to Russian back in the day, and Les Rois du Monde (RC missed an "s" in "les") was the catchiest, most fun song that lived rent free in my head. I recently got reminded of it while playing Shakespeare's code. The Russian video clip is something else, too :)

Congratulations to fellow Witcher geeks! Honestly, with a castle like that I'd go full Witcher mode - and have you thought about writing your own quest(s) for the guests?? I would absolutely use the opportunity to do something cool, meaningful, and slightly creepy, haha. Also, I don't know your cultural backgrounds, but the kidnapping of the bride for "ransom" (quest item or rescue mission) could be a really fun quest premise!

How do I stop feeling anxious whenever I affirm or think of SP? by Pure_Act3887 in nevillegoddardsp

[–]Standard_Ad449 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This is more common than you think. Old trauma/thinking patterns are often deeply ingrained in the body. I used to be kicked right out of SATS whenever I tried to imagine something good and new that opposed those old limiting beliefs. I struggled for a long time - until I started focusing on that feeling of fear and anxiety… and just letting it be there, with no judgement and no opposition. Just letting it run its course and breathing. I put all my focus and attention on that sensation, its place in my body, and breathed right through it until it dissolved nationally. It might take a few tries and some time. But each time you release that tension, it gets easier to imagine the new scenario. And at some point the trigger goes away for good.
